Brenda was born December 12, 1992 in Los Angeles, California to singer-songwriter Kathy Mason and Joshua Peck Callaway. Brenda grew up as a tomb boy and was home schooled by her father Joshua. Brenda always grew inspiration to become a singer from her mother Kathy Mason (The Chickmunk girls). Brenda was the assertive type and often found herself being shaped by the people she hanged out with. Also, due to her free and the lenient schedule, Brenda had time to practice on the guitar with her father. She eventually became a guitarist and worked on her own songs, developing her writing skills. When she turned 17, Brenda convinced her father to finally start her career as a hard working musician. However, Brenda is looking forward to becoming part of the mainstream pop music world. Blending her musicianship with pop artistry. After six months of playing on teen music nights and popular music events, Brenda managed to be signed by Interscope Records earlier this month and is working on putting together her debut album.
