Release Date: July 3rd, 2011 Genre: Rock, Progressive Rock, Electronic Rock Label: Junction Records Quote:I finally just feel this is my chance. I worked so hard on this album because yes, people call me the pretty face in all but this will prove to everyone that I have a ROCK god inside of me. I had a blast writing and recording the album and although the album goes through different emotions, it will be an amazing rock ride from the time you pop the C.D in the jukebox or play it over the computer. I feel so emotionally connected to the album that I'm just so proud of it. Quote:I named this album 'Climbing' because I'm constantly climbing through different obstacles, better yet, every human being. There are so many different obstacles in life that I talk about in the album that Climbing really connects to. So it only made sense. Quote:Imagine a Progressive ride with some playful and experimental Electronic Rock music on the album. It was a lot of fun because I sort of wanted to push boundaries to show people, and myself, that getting experimental in the studio can make magic. I wanted people to enjoy this album.. and hopefully I've hot the home run. I believe in myself, and my band because we've worked so hard. ![UserPostedImage](http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu223/dmilasaki/harel-skaat.jpg) 1. Falling 2. This Kills Me 3. Driving Me Away 4. 1. Dig Me A Hole![UserPostedImage](http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu223/dmilasaki/63ozxn9.jpg) Release Date: April 4th, 2011 Genre: Progressive Rock, Rock Producers: N/a Recorded: 2011 Label: Junction Records Chart Position: #1 (Top 20) As April of 2011 comes to light, James Urie who is the brother of Suburban Sunrise front man, Matt Urie. He is also no stranger to rock bands as he use to sing for the Walls and other small bands that never got off their feet. Coming to the end of 2010, James had promised us a song that will be memorable, and we waited. And finally, here it is. 'Dig Me A Whole'. The song is an unapologetic and controversial song that explains how bad the world is coming to be. With the terrible economy, crime rates, death, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and more, James Urie encourages himself to dig a hole for himself, and be woken up when all the pain and suffering comes to an end. He belts the words 'I'll Dig Myself A Whole' throughout the Progressive chorus showing off his perfect vocals behind the thumbing baseline and guitar chords leading off the song. The guitar becomes fully apart of the song for a beautiful bridge, where James holds a long note belting the word 'hole'.
We are so impressed with the song because James sounds so emotionally connected to the song. He sounds so in tuned with the lyrics and emotion of the song, that you could sort of imagine him digging a hole, and actually hiding out for years to come. With the wonderful production, writing, lyrics, and vocals. We are almost sure that James has completely made another lane for himself, and far away from his brother who he has been compared to on more then one occasion.
Quote:When I was recording this song, not only was I singing for people who think the world is a bit messed up right now or the fact that I didn't want a typical love song or something but I also wanted to really represent every rock artist out there in the industry at this point right now my brothers band, Eric Quillington, Jason Smith.. and there's some more but there's really not a lot of us and I wanted to come on the scene not as Matt's brother but as James, someone who can make a name for himself, not with his last name. And I feel with this single everyone will soon realize who I am. Its a great song that I know a lot of people can relate to. I really hope everyone loves it because it took me a while to record the song. I wanted it to be perfect. 2.
