"Love is lethal, it cuts you away and skins your emotions down to the bone" Glamazon says softly after being introduced to the stage. "Call me mrs. skeleton, BITCH!" she shouts out as the song begins, dark purple lights flashing down onto the stage; we hear the opening of the track to be a harsh pop track with many alternative rock influences, heavily inspired by Alanis Morissette. "Once upon a time, with you I could have faced anything" she sings for the opening line as two female dancers hurry onto the stage for the opening routine, Glamazon continuing to sing the first verse.
"Once upon a time, with you I could have faced anything
Your love was irreplaceable unlike all those superficial things
Diamond rings, designer clothes, none of that ever mattered
Fendi purse, louboutins, but they don't cure a heart that's shattered
I gave you my all but you ended up stealing all of me away
You crept out at night and off you went away to play"
She whispers the pre-chorus softly as the song gradually builds up into the climax of the chorus.
"Now I hate you so much, but I still love you so
And why is it that I refuse to let you go?"
"You're a murderer equipped with a heart made of stone" Glamazon sings for the chorus opening, backed with strong, hammering beats as well as a disturbing bone-crunching sound mixed in the background. Her and her dancers throw one arm up into the air late in the chorus as if they're dangling on a string, referencing the line "Call me mrs. skeleton and play me like a puppet on a string", Glamazon looking fearless as she looks out into the crowd.

You battered my feelings 'til they were black and blue
And yet I'm the one who's still calling you my sweetheart

Her and her dancers drop their arms and her dancers begin a more uptempo, complex routine whilst Glamazon drops to her knees, singing the catchy post-chorus.
"My emotions are numb, I'm nothing but a skeleton
(Eh, eh, eh, mrs. skeleton)
My emotions are dead, I'm nothing but a skeleton
(Eh, eh, eh, mrs. skeleton)
My emotions are frozen, I'm nothing but a skeleton
(Eh, eh, eh, mrs. skeleton)
All bone, emotions unknown, you can call me mrs. skeleton"
She gets up off her knees to join in with the dancers routine for the second verse; only this time, male dancers now appear on stage with them. Glamazon walks towards the male dancers, grabbing one dancer by his simple black vest as she throws him to the floor. She walks towards another male dancer and simply pushes him over, and then places her heel on his chest before picking him up and kissing him on the lips, referencing the lyrics at the end of the verse which relate to struggling with letting go of someone.
"With you it was like a dream, nothing else ever crossed my mind
I thought you were perfect but that's not how you're designed
Lying to me, cheating on me, stealing from me, that's your style
All you leave me with is a broken heart and a bittersweet smile
Cause I know I'm better off without you
But my feelings for you are so hard to undo"
After the pre-chorus, Glamazon grabs her axe from the side of the stage and then pulls one of the male dancers close to her as both female dancers dance either side of her. She licks his neck seductively as the chorus once again kicks in, she holds her axe high up in the air and then licks it herself before gently pressing it along his neckline. She then goes into the middle-8 where we hear a heavy guitar riff throughout it.
"I tell myself I don't want you, you're welcome to her
Yet I can't help but think of what we once were
I tell myself without you, I'm gonna be fine
Yet I can't help but think of you as mine
All I can think of is you but I don't feel any pain
Just thoughts in my head that take me back down memory lane
I think about the times that you used to thrill me
If I think about it for too long I know it'll kill me"
The words "kill me" from the song echo repeatedly around the arena before the song explodes back into the last chorus. Glamazon and her dancers begin a dance routine for one last time, she then suddenly drops to the floor as the song ends, the lights blackout and nothing but her heavy breathing can be heard into the microphone. She then stands up and the lights come back on, she thanks the crowd and then leaves the stage. |
