OOC: While me and Jason work on the collaboration piece I will be working on two more songs in this rp, including studio time. Song writing, and partying.


April 24th, Sunday. 9:00 AM

Beep! Beep!

The alarm clock rang in Christian's room at the studio house. He sat up and looked at the picture if him and his wife in front of their home in his hometown of Fruitport and smiled.
He stood up and pulled back the curtains and the sun let in, a few seconds passed and Adam walked in.

"Get dressed, we are going out for a quick Easter breakfast and then getting to work." He stated in a tired voice.

"Yes sir." Christian replied with a smartalick grin on his face, he was always known to be in a good mood.

April 24th, Sunday. 11:00 AM.

The band walked back into the studio laughing. Adam grabbed the few papers they had with the song's written on them. Most of which wouldn't make it into anything, throwaways really. The single they were writing and recording for was going to have three songs, Behind The Scenes, Untitled Track w/ Jason Smith, and a third one that they have been unable to write for. The walked into the studio and Adam and Christian went into two different booths set up for voice recording. This studio was private owned by one of Sam's friend and for a small price they got to use it until the single was ready.

As the instrumentals were playing through the headphones Adam and Christian were wearing. They began to do their parts for Behind The Scenes.

April 24th, Sunday. 12:00 AM

"Man, I need a drink" Adam said walking out of the booth sweating heavily. He had taken off his shirt during the third session because it was drenched.


"Sam how did it go?" Christian asked him, he was overseeing today's sessions.

"I think we got it this time. Adam's fourth attempt and your second sounded the best." He replied looking at the monitor.

"Good." He said back to him, while wiping his brow with his shirt. He turned on his phone to see if he missed anything. 2 missed calls. One from the home phone and one from his wife's cellphone. He called her back. She answered after the third ring.

"Hey baby, sorry about the calls I was recording." He said in the sweet tone he always had with her.

"It's fine babe, I have terrific news!" She said excitedly.

"What?" He said, kinda worried that he wasn't going to like it.

"I'm pregnant!" She said, he could feel her smile through the phone when she said it.

"Babe thats... thats great!" He too was excited to be a parent, always wanted to be one.

"We will talk about names when you get home, love you." She said.

"I love you too, and thats fine by me." He said, he was tearing up.

The conversation ended and he set down his phone and fell back into the chair, he stared at the ceiling and let a few tears fall. Sam looked at him and smiled.

"Haven't seen you happy enough to cry in awhile bro" He said.

Christian replied with a chuckle and walked to the lounge and grabbed a notepad on the way up.

Christian is alone is the studio lounge with the notepad. A pile of discarded papers is near the waste bin, some are in but most are not. Biting his lower lip he is humming a tune while reading the words written on his paper. He has a guitar near and handy. He grabs it after humming and begins strumming and humming the same tune over. Adam walks in with two beers in hand.

"Bro, what are you doing up right now? You on to something?" He asked curiously as he picks up one of the crumpled papers and opens it.

Instead of answering he grabs the pad of paper and begins writing something more.

"Yeah, I have a few ideas. Guess what though?" Christian said in reply.

"She's pregnant." Adam said blankly to answer him.

"Howd you know?."

"Well this song kinda points out with the line, Babe you carry new life witcha and I promise Ill never forgetcha or that child man life is wild thinking about the days when all i did was hate my dad but now im glad ill be a better father than him. Kinda gave it away. Plus Sam told me." Adam said matter of factually. "You better keep that line, if you won't for you do it for me."

"Don't worry it's in their. This song is leaning more on the hip hop side of us with some smooth guitar and bass is what i'm feeling.
