Jacks: Good afternoon, and welcome to Jacks Glifford.com My name is Jackson Glifford, but please call me Jacks. I am a publicist to the stars. Essentially, I help people in high profile positions in their interactions with the media. And we try together to paint them in a positive, truthful and open light. I have worked with many top celebrities over the years.
Now, this morning I was contacted by two separate management offices regarding a story that I dont doubt everyone has read. The managers of Katie Coyle and Miss Vanity have both hired me, SEPARATELY I must add, to represent them as publicist as they try to get over the stories about a liaison in Chaos Magazine Online. Now, as many people have already said, this really isn't, or at least shouldn't be, an issue at all .If two adult ladies want to be together, then it's hardly the business of you or I to deny them happiness.
HOWEVER, the point both would like to make here is that the story is a FALSIFICATION, and thus should be dropped forthwith. Also, the continued hassling of both girls by the rats with cameras has also caused a high level of stress and upset, particularly to Katie, who is not as used to the limelight as perhaps Miss Vanity is.
So, over the next few hours, both girls will post an official statement each here onmy website. I ask you to please read them in an unbiased and open minded fashion, and accept what they say as truth.

A Statement from Ms Katie Coyle feel it important to point out that I, Jacks Glifford, have imposed a restriction on what Katie may say in THIS statement. Elsewhere, Katie may discuss the goings on with unnamed members of other bands from the last few nights. But I was hired only to deal with the gay allegations, and it is that to which she and Miss Vanity will answer here.
 Hi, you'll all know this by now. But I'll tell you anyway. My name is Katie Coyle. I'm 19, and I come from London, England. I am a folk artist, and have recently toured with bands such as Infinite, and Suburban Sunrise. Over the last week, allegations have been spread in magazines about my sexuality after someone told a magazine that they had seen me kissing Miss Vanity at the Birdies last week. This is my chance to defend myself through Mr Glifford, as it appears no one will believe me otherwise. It is all a lie. I don't know if the magazine perpetuated the idea, or if someone has a grudge against me or Miss Vanity. Perhaps someone's just trying to make a quick buck, I really don't know. All I know is that it is a falsification by Chaos Online. I have never, at any time, felt the need to kiss Miss Vanity. Her body is of no interest to me, as I am not inclined in that way at all. I have, since the Birdies, gone through turmoil, as I have been pressured again and again into admitting something that is not true...I mean, for god's sake, what did I do to deserve that? I have at least five men with cameras outside my hotel room on a daily basis waiting to see if they can grab a picture of me! That's not nice! I didn't do it! I didn't! Why can't they just leave me the hell alone? I feel tired, and sad, and empty and alone now, when I should be enjoying the start of a new career! Why? Because some rag decided to screw me and write an article that doesn't even make sense! My mom thinks I'm gay, my dad hasn't spoken to me since the story broke! And to top it all off, the whole of Twitter seems to believe it's true. What have I got to do? What? What? Sorry, I've gone and gotten all emotional again! I hate this! I really do! MISS VANITY RELEASES STATEMENT
At the moment, there's a great deal of speculation going around me and folk artist Katie Coyle which has all been started by Chaos Magazine.
Firstly, I think it's disgusting how the magazine have handled all of this and they have been highly unprofessional about it all. It's resulted into other people getting involved and violence being present in the matter which I find sickening and I hope people will be facing consequences for this; violence is never the answer, as an artist, I have always promoted equality and love to all and this is definitely not the right way to go about it.
Secondly, as a pop artist, I have arguably one of the biggest gay fanbases out there and my support for the LGBT community has always been present in my music. I like to be considered as a gay icon and to have a rumour started about me being a lesbian does not bother me in the slightest; in a way, it pulls me closer to my fans and helps them to relate even more to me. However, I will not "come out" as something I am not and these fabricated stories are not only untrue, but they are hurtful to those such as Katie who have experienced a great deal of negativity from it all.
Katie has been the center of all of this as she has struggled with the story, she has practically had a public breakdown and to receive the attention and backlash she's getting now is enough to make anyone crack. As an artist who has more experience in this industry, the better thing for me to do is to keep quiet on the matter and just press on with my tour as if nothing has happened; because I feel that my tour for the fans is more important than a cheap story made to sell magazines.
I love my career and my fans dearly and I have nothing else to say on the matter.
