Tisha Releasing "History" on May 9th and Filming Music Video, Plus Album Details Inside

Next week will be a very big week for Tisha as she preps for the release of two singles and promotions for her new album that is schedule to be released in June. Tisha will kick off the week with her charity single for Japan called "Opened Arms", which will be released on Tuesday May 3rd, 2011. All proceeds will go to the American Red Cross and it will help victims of Japan rebuilt their nation and supply them with shelter and food as the rebulding process begins. The charity single "Open Arms" however will not appear on Tisha's new album and it is not a single off the album. The single will feature a B-Side however; the B-Side single is a thirty five second preview of Tisha's second single off her soon to be released album.
Causing alot of talk among fans and others in the media in the last couple of weeks; Tisha, GirlSpice, and Stephanie Fierce prepare to make history on Monday May 9th, 2011. The single will be released to Urban and Mainstream radio stations on May 9th, 2011. Fans will be able to purchase the single on its offical day of release May 13th, 2011 which is the same day the video will be released. Filming for the video will begin this weekend in New York City. Hype Williams will direct the video which is set to be one of the most anticipated video's of the year by far.
Tisha: I am so excited about the release of History. I can't wait for the fans to hear this. Stephanie, GirlSpice, and myself have put our all in this track so it can be everything that it can be. We didn't want to dissappoint anyone so we took our time with the single and I can now say that I am in love with the end result of this project. I know their was some confusion with the single releas date because it was pushed back once but May 9th is the day that you will all hear it so mark down your calendars. Haha. Filming for the video will begin tomorrow and I can say this one of the most different video's I've done so I can't wait for you to see it.
The single finally being released isn't the only good news Tisha has, her album is now complete. Recording for the album has finally wrapped up. The title of the album has been unkown for the past couple of months but it has been confirmed that their is a title for the new album. However the title won't be released until May 9th when Tisha's second single off the album "History" will be released.
Tisha: "The title for the album has come from a very deep and sincere place. I wanted to make sure that everyone who hears the album will understand it, and the title will explain the whole album. Im just at the point right now where I can't wait for everything to be released".More information including tracklisting of the album will follow after the "History" single release. In the week(s) to come expect;+May 3rd- Japan charity single "Open Arms" to be released. All proceeds will be donated to The American Cross. Song will not appear on the album
+May 9th- "History" single will be released/premiere to Mainstream/Urban radio stations
+May 13th- "History" video will premiere and the single will be availbe for digital downlading, purchasing format and itunes purchases |
