The best comment in that thread is the typical big headed American tube (I'm not talking about all Americans) saying "britain is old news, USA is the new superpower". You just know he's wearing dungarees |

Bib Overalls?
I see people wear them all the time (mind, I am in Missouri) but most of them aren't rednecks or extremists like that. Most of them are just people who wear them because they are comfortable, warm, or good for their work.
I wear them every winter when me and my dad go to clean up land my Grandpa owns north of us. Dad wears them for his job, they are just good for warmth. |

I think it has to do with culture/fashion and the area you live in. Mind the US is a big ass country. I've only been to couple of states. New York, New Jersey Florida, Georgia, South Carolina. I've never seen anyone wear dungarees/overalls

If you've been to Georgia and not seen anyone with overalls, then you must have had your eyes closed. Lol, you are mostly correct though. People in New York will never wear them. I just dont think the iconic image of Hillbilly Jim drinking moonshine and smoking cigs while he complains about Dubya is really correct. lol |
