Introduction
As Riot! In The Boulevard leave the stage, the four members of Fathers of Fury are prepared to go and show their fans a night that they will never forget! The stage is dark and the boys quickly rush on to get into their positions. The lights are still off and nobody can see the stage. A mind-blowing guitar riff is quickly played; after about 20 seconds it stops, and the drums are smashed three times. A single light flashes down on Jack Straw. His head is bowed and as he looks up, the audience starts to scream. A short smirk comes across his face. He does not say anything, only simply lifts his right hand into the air. The fans scream.

The American Dream and Rolling On
As the audience quietens down, the stage starts to brighten; the other members of the band now come into view. Isaac is holding his guitar in the air and posing for the audience as he comes into view. A few members of the audience laugh at him; Jack turns around to look at him and just shakes his head.

He turns his face back to the front, and looks down into the front row to look at some of the fans, he smiles at a pretty girl on the front row and she screams and hugs her friend next to her; the man to her right doesn’t look impressed. Jack grins and then moves closer to the microphone.

Jack taps his foot on the floor and both Isaac and Ollie King join him in starting to play their guitars. The three of them all pluck at the same notes at the same time, creating a sense of unity in the band. Shortly after the start of their plucking, Freddie Johnson starts to tap at a slow, steady drum beat. Jack starts to sing; his voice is soft and controlled, leaving the audience feeling happy and warm inside.

The chorus kicks in and Jack steps up a gear, singing with a lot more power. Beneath Jack’s voice, the drums get louder and the guitars all loose their synchronised plucking. Ollie blasts out a crazy guitar riff – similar to the one that opened the show, as Jack ends the sings the words, “My American Dream!” and then as the song slows back down he follows it with the almost spoken sentence; “You are my American Dream!”

As the song comes to a close, the acoustic opener to the album ends with Jack, Ollie and Isaac harmonising together at the end, saying “American Dream”. Just as they finish, Jack looks off the side of the stage to see if he can see Jenny Hudson.

Rather than stopping and talking to the audience, Ollie starts to play a light riff. An underlying beat from Freddie joins in part way through. As Ollie’s brief riff comes to a close, Isaac and Jack join in with their guitars. This leads into the first verse quite nicely; Jack’s powerful vocals blend with the music.

The chorus arrives and Isaac and Ollie do a small bit of backing singing, helping to emphasise the words and their meanings. The drums have sped up at this point and they are now quite loud too. Ollie plays another short riff under the chorus.

As the final verse approaches, the music stops completely. The introduction of the song is played again, which leads into the final verse – which is lyrically the same as the first one. Then the chorus comes back around.

The last words are spoken and the introductory riff by Ollie is played backwards to end the song; which is then followed by several quick smashes on the drum-kit.

Watered Down

Jack wipes his forehead as he lets his guitar hang loosely from his shoulder. He can’t stop smiling; he can just feel that tonight has started well. He steps up to the microphone again, after downing half of one of his several bottles of water. “MANCHESTER!” He shouts into the microphone. The Old Trafford Stadium goes up in a riot. “WE ARE HOME!” with this the fans go absolutely crazy.

Jack laughs at the reaction; he can’t believe that just under a year ago, he was no-where. The four of them had really made a name for themselves in this short space of time. “This is our last show of the tour;” he pulls a sad face and then continues, “and we thought, were better to have it than the place that we love the most!” The fans cheer again, “So here we are, in the stadium of the BEST FOOTBALL TEAM IN THE WORLD!” A lot of Manchester United fans start cheering now, whereas a lot of Manchester City fans start to boo.

He looks back at the other three and Freddie makes a gesture to his wrist as if to tell Jack to hurry up. “Okay, well this is Watered Down, track 3 of the up-coming album.” He is about to start playing when he stops again; “By the way, the album is called ‘Passionate’, just thought I would let you all in for a bit of a sneak preview!”

Some fans make a whooping noise after the brief announcement. All of a sudden, a wall of noise hits the audience. Fathers of Fury have started to play the next track, Watered Down. Freddie is smashing away at his drum set while the other three are all shredding away on their guitars.

20 seconds or so into the song, Jack hits a massive note, which he holds for a good 10-15 seconds. Ollie starts to sing just as Jack gets near the end of his note, thus creating an overlap. Ollie’s position as the lead singer doesn’t last very long, as Jack swiftly takes over again.

If the fans thought the start of the song was crazy, then when they heard the chorus they would be in for a real shock. The song looses all control and Jack is almost shouting the chorus. This song is very angry, and very high powered; but it all calms down after the first chorus.

The song finishes with Ollie saying “And that was watered down” followed by one final strum on the guitar.

Matilda and Home or Away
Jack takes a sip of his bottle of water, and splashes a bit into his face quickly while Ollie walks up to the microphone; “Hello everyone;” Ollie says into the microphone. “How are you all doing you beautiful people?” The audience screams in response. “Sorry, I didn’t quite catch that… Do you mind repeating that?” He encourages the audience; they scream again. “What?” he says again, trying to get yet another response. Each time he gets a louder scream from the audience. “Ah, I see. So you are good then. Well, I think it is time for the next track. MATILDA!”

A quiet piano and simple guitar opens the song under some of Jack’s pleading vocals. “Please Matilda, Matilda please!” he sings into the microphone, making eye contact with as many people as he can to let them know that this song is meant for everyone. Isaac then steps up to his microphone and bluntly says “Just Go Away.” Jack turns around and looks at him and pretends to be shocked. This then leads the song to really start up; the chorus is the first real thing to happen, with all four instruments creating a sappy, pleading sound which helps to mirror the initial image created.

The music gets a little heavier, as the lyrics start to become a little angrier; they tell stories of how Matilda is being ‘a bitch’ and is a liar. The song then slows down again, it gets quieter, and almost sounds as if the boys are mourning a broken down relationship; the chorus comes back around again and is exactly the same as the first one, but only seems to be a little bit more menacing when talking about Matilda again.

The song reaches its climax after the second chorus, when Jack sings the name Matilda and holds the last note; both Ollie and Isaac say the name Matilda into the microphone to help emphasise it. The song goes quiet at this point. A swift drum beat is then built up, which leads towards the song reaching the chorus again; the last chorus is repeated and the song then finishes on a final strum.

The boys quickly switch to their slightly more acoustic sounding instruments, or settings on their instruments in preparation for the next track, Home or Away. The song starts in a far more relaxed way to the others; the drums are light and the bass mixes with it to help give an almost refreshed sense to the foursome.

Jack moves back up to his microphone and closes his eyes as he starts to sing, thus showing the emotion which has been put into this song. He is very quiet but still audible; giving a sense of being unsure about something. The chorus arrives and Jack turns up the volume; he blasts out a powerful chorus which is one to compare to the legends. He finishes the chorus with a held note which fades out into the night.

There is a brief instrumental break in which Ollie comes to the front of the stage to show off his guitar skills. He lifts his guitar and plays it while holding it away from himself. He plays a superb little riff which then leads into another quiet verse. As this verse approaches the chorus, the music gets louder to prepare the audience for another belted chorus.

This chorus is incredibly heartfelt, Jack stops playing his guitar to grab onto the microphone. He walks to the front of the stage and kneels down on the floor and leans towards the audience as he shows the emotion. The music gradually dies out, leaving him there on the floor repeating the words “Home or Away”.

OOC: This was written by Fathers Of Fury, he just asked me to post this and another one tomorrow because he is on holiday or something. Let him know what you think of it.

Love Drunk
As the last song finishes, Jack takes off his guitar and then grabs a towel from the floor to wipe his face; he casually slips out of his shirt to reveal his rather slim frame. Some whistles can be heard from the audience.

“So I’m feeling a bit rock and roll right now; so WHO WANTS MY SHIRT?!?!” Jack shouts to the audience, whilst waving his shirt above his head; a reply from hundreds of girls is quickly followed. He grins and scrunches it up into a ball; “Basically, I am sorry to all of you up there – I can’t throw that far… So get ready! NO FIGHTING OVER IT!” he laughs as he throws it into the audience. It unrolls and only goes about two lines into the audience, landing in the hands of two girls.

“That is better;” he laughs again, “this song is called Love Drunk. It is the new single! Hope you guys are have all already bought it! And if not, BUY IT NOW!”

Jack laughs briefly, and then he steps towards the microphone. The audience goes quiet as Jack starts to sing over the emptiness of the night; “Oh Oh Ohhhhh!” He repeats the line a couple more times before Freddie cuts in with a quick drum beat. A quiet guitar can be heard over the top, blending with Jack’s voice as he sings the first verse. As the chorus approaches, the guitars get louder; Ollie King moves to the front of the stage and really starts to play with some pace, and now Jack starts to blast out his vocals.

He lets go of his guitar now and unhooks the microphone from the stand. He moves across the stage whilst singing the second verse. Jack is now regretting taking his top off and throwing it into the audience; he has somehow managed to catch a breeze in the massive stadium that is Old Trafford.

Just as the third verse comes around, Freddie stands up and starts to smash his drum kit with the sticks. He somehow manages to maintain a crazy beat and a mad rhythm, whilst also making a hell of a lot of noise. He suddenly stops and sits back down, wiping his brow whilst finishing off one of the bottles of water down by his feet. The other three now start to harmonise the Oh’s that opened the song. The song finishes to the sound of a roaring audience.

Kingdom and Powerhouse
Rather than speaking for a bit, Jack just nods at Freddie to start off the song. A powerful drumbeat is played by Freddie, making the audience really start to move to the music. Ollie starts to jump around with his guitar; managing to play his immense opening riff still completely in time and maybe even better than the recorded version.

The song gets to about 30 seconds in and then Isaac runs to the front of the stage and skids down onto his knees whilst playing away on his guitar, showing how good he actually is with his guitar; Jack gets the audience clapping while this is happening, trying to get them to show their support.

Isaac gets up and then Jack steps to the front, putting his foot on top of a speaker which is placed in the middle of the stage; thus showing an air of power about himself. He plays a 20 second bass solo which continues to keep the audience as loud as Isaac had them. The noise then increases when Freddie’s drums come back in and the other band members help to build the sound back up again.

The song seems to be coming to a close when Freddie speeds up his drumming and really starts bashing his drums around, showing off his immense timing and ear for a rhythm. Part way through, Ollie comes in playing the heavy riff which many will know from Fathers of Fury’s hit single, Powerhouse.

Freddie hits the symbols 5 times like he does in the proper version with Stacey, and then Jack hits the massive note which Stacey Walton would normally do; Isaac and Ollie are both stood on the right hand side jamming together.

Ollie then moves over to a microphone and starts to sing Stacey’s lines for the first half of the verse. His version of the verse is very different to hers, as his voice is a lot lower and has more of a growling tone to it. The fans don’t seem to care though, they are singing along just as if they were listening to it via the IPod. Jack takes over and the audience gets louder; they no every single word. This fills Jack with warmth – which is quite a nice feeling for him right now, due to his stupidity of throwing his shirt into the crowd.

The bass gets louder and faster as the chorus arrives, and Ollie plays yet another incredibly crafted riff – trying to prove people wrong after not winning the award for Technical Ecstasy at the Chaos Awards II. Jack sings the chorus solo, which seems to have a feel to it that isn’t quite right; Isaac and Ollie realise this before Jack does and they agree to join in with the chorus towards the end. This makes Jack miss a few words as he wasn’t expecting them to join in. He turns around and looks at them, and Ollie just winks at him while Isaac gestures with a nod for him to continue.

With all of this happening, Isaac again shows his control over the rhythm by not missing a note, or straying off into something completely different to what he should be doing. He has grown in confidence massively over the last 9 months, and is confident enough to stand in front of the whole of a full Old Trafford Stadium and sing the Stacey Walton half of the second verse. His voice is again another different take on the Stacey vocals. Isaac’s voice is relatively soft and squeaky, which is quite different to the original. The crowd still don’t seem to care; they support him through this and sing with him to help really make this song work.

Jack takes over again, leading the song towards the second chorus. He sings it this time with the help of Isaac and Ollie right from the beginning. The song goes quiet except a slight tapping on the symbols from Freddie. Jack steps up to the microphone again; “Manchester! Are you ready? We want you to sing louder than us for this final chorus! Can you do it?!” The audience screams in response. “Okay then! Freddie, on 3! 1… 2… 3…! GO!” and with that, all of the instruments come back in and the song reaches a climax of sound as the music blares from the speakers with the three boys singing, as well as the fans succeeding in singing louder than ]Fathers of Fury. The song comes to a close with the audience screaming again. Jack simply says, “Manchester – You are a Powerhouse!” To which the audience cheers and shouts again.

Days of Old and Drifting with the Breeze
Isaac comes to the front of the stage and puts his hand in the air, “Are you all having a good time?” The audience shouts louder than at any other point in the show; “GOOD! Now the second last track of the night is up next – I was gonna say a big word which meant second last… but I forgot it…” This stirred a little bit of a laugh from the audience. “Thanks for being sympathetic guys…”

Ollie cuts over him, “Okay, this one is a bit of a piano track. So we would like to welcome on to the stage our official pianist.” Ollie looks over to Jack and winks, “It is the one and only… Jenny Hudson!” The audience cheer for her as she walks onto the stage, bare footed again. She waves to the audience and bows as a thank you before going to sit at the piano which has just been pushed onto the stage from the side while Jenny was being introduced.

She flicks her hair over her shoulder before placing her hands in position. The audience quietens down as Jenny prepares herself to play in front of a massive stadium filled to the brim with people. She takes a deep breath and then starts to play. The introduction is beautifully crafted and touches the hearts of the audience. Many people start to sway to the music as Jack begins his vocals.

The words flow softly from his lips, and intertwine with the piano beautifully. It takes a verse of nothing but Jack and the piano before any other instrument comes in. Isaac starts to pluck at his guitar to introduce a guitar-based rhythm. There is no chorus yet, only another verse of only Jack’s vocals over the piano and now the rhythm guitar.

The chorus comes around and this is when the other instruments come into the song. The beat of the song is now lifted, and Jenny lifts the piano up an octave as Jack powers out an emotion-filled chorus. It shows ideals of how Isaac felt earlier in their career, the look on his face when the chorus is sang shows that he does still feel a bit sad about some of the things that he has lost from before they became famous.

The chorus ends and the music dies down to only the piano. Jack is now repeating the words “Days of Old” until Freddie hits the drums three times to signal the chorus to start back up again. The chorus finishes again and then nothing can be heard except Jack’s voice fading off into the cheering of the audience.

“And that was Days of Old! Thank you very much Jenny!” Jack says, Jenny comes to the front of the stage and bows again for the audience before giving Jack a brief hug and leaving the stage. “Here is the final track of the night everybody! The last one on the album! Drifting with the Breeze!”

Freddie smashes the drums as the other three quickly join in with their guitars. Jack starts to sing, but his voice is quite harsh in this song; another shock for the audiences. Ollie thrashes at his guitar and gets louder and louder as the song progresses. Freddie doesn’t really have much of a tune to play in this song, he is just allowed to thrash at the drums and make as much noise as he wants too – which he was quite happy with as that is what he enjoys doing the most; hitting things.

The song has no chorus, only two long verses. The second verse gets about half way through and Freddie drops one of his sticks. He continues to play with one stick until he can fish his spare out of wherever he had it hidden. The song ends with a brief drum solo and then fireworks spray from the front of the stage as the boys all stand up with their hands in the air.

“Thank you so much for supporting us, we love you so much!” Jack shouts into the microphone. “WE ARE FATHERS OF FURY!!!” The boys leave the stage to the sound of a very satisfied audience.

The Encore
The fans can be heard chanting for one more song, they all want to hear one of the old singles. Freddie comes back out on stage on his own. He lifts his arms, revealing massive sweat patches on his shirt. The audience screams as he gets to the front of the stage with his mic.

“Okay everybody! One more song! We want to play one of the old singles for you! But, we don’t know which one we want to play!” He waits a second before continuing. “How about we have a vote?” The fans cheer loudly to this! “Right! If you wanna hear our debut single Subtle Distractions cheer now!” The crowd is so loud that Freddie can not even hear himself think anymore. He nods his head, “okay, well how are the other two gonna beat that?” he laughs, “We can still see though… Second Hand Rock Songs?” Again the audience cheers ridiculously loudly; it seems to be on a par with Subtle Distractions. “Wow… That is looking pretty close to me… Last one now: Fairground Doubts?!” The audience once more reaches a massive amount of noise.

Ollie, Isaac and Jack all walk back on now. The four of them stand in front of the audience and then after sharing a few words they decide which one to play. “Alright then! The winner is…. ALL OF THEM! We are gonna do a medley of the three! So get ready!”

The four of them get into their positions and Isaac starts up the tidy rhythm from Subtle Distractions. The bass and the drums kick in and then the song takes off! Jack’s vocals don’t take long to come in either. The four of them love this track, as it was really their first release; and this can be seen through the way they are playing. The chorus arrives and the fans are again singing along, louder than Jack is.

The chorus finishes and the drums become quieter, yet still quite excitable and fast. Jack starts to sing the second verse from Second Hand Rock Songs. It is clear to the audience that this medley had been practiced and was not a decision that had just been made; but they still love it and sing along.

The chorus comes around and Jack just holds the microphone up into the air for the fans to sing the words. There is an almost choir-like effect, as the song is sung beautifully by the collective voice of the fans. The chorus finishes and the final change is apparent.

Fairground Doubts starts, and the third verse is sang by Jack Straw. The drums are fast, the guitars are played to perfection, and Jack’s voice is note perfect. The final verse of the medley comes to a close and Freddie hits every one of his drums as Ollie plays one final riff to close the show.

“THANK YOU AND GOOD NIGHT!!!”

OOC: Again, I didn't write this, I was just asked to post it, I think it's really good.

I think Penultimate is the big word you're looking for, Jack. But, anyways, enough of me being a jerk; fantastic performance, guys! Right from the beginning, I've always thought you were a band with tons of potential, and your recent tour has proven everything I thought about Fathers of Fury. Your new album might be the thing I'm anticipating the most right now.

Thank you so much Stephanie and Eric; we are all really happy with how this album has gone. We feel that it is a lot better than the first, but in all honesty we still haven't found our sound fully... There is such a mix on this album, from acoustic to metallic, we have covered most areas of rock on it. Thanks again!
