The alternative music event of the year shall take place tomorrow, at high noon.


The Band and Catharsis will be realising their respective albums tomorrow. They will go on sale at noon in all record stores. Lines will likely form at independent shops. The guitarsists, John York and James White, have a past together. Words between singers Kim Black and Ashley Gothom have been exchanged in person. There have been "misunderstandings" on Twitter. After a recent jab where York said that Catharsis would be his favorite band "if he was still 14", Catharsis declared all out war, ending any pretense of this chart battle being friendly. Pick your side tomorrow

MISSING? NO!
Remember this face? Madcore princess Regan Robbins aka. Raven Storme/Comatose (no, we don't know what she's calling herself) is alive, but has been in confinement for nearly a year. On the 5th July 2010, she fell out of a helicopter and was presumed dead, but apparently she survived the fall. She has yet to explain how she survived, or why she went into hiding.

Riot! In The Boulevard Looking For Producers

Everybody’s new favourite alt-rock band Riot! In The Boulevard are soon to begin recording their debut album and we can reveal that the band are looking for up to four producers for the record. The band whose debut single Sweet Little Fantasy’s rocketed to number 2 on the Top20 Airplay Charts have finally finished a UK tour in support of Fathers Of Fury and the hard work is set to continue as they prepare to record their debut record. Lead singer and primary songwriter Amy Meyer has been garnering lots of praise for her song writing, most notably from Lily and Ryan Ross Hernandez. And the album has been highly anticipated for a while now, with a heavily growing fanbase it seems like the band are set to become huge in the near future.

Amy Meyer wrote:
”We’ve got a clear idea of what we want this record to turn out like so we’ll need someone to come into the studio with us and help us create what we envision. There’s a few people that interests us as producers already but we’ve decided to see who are interested and then decide from then on. I gotta say that it won’t be a tough job for whatever producers we choose because we know the material perfectly and we know exactly what we wanna create so yeah, we’ll just have to wait and see who’s interested.”


The band are also set to perform this Sunday at the first ever Field Trip Festival, so if you don’t believe the hype then check out their set at 4:00pm this Sunday to find out just how big this band could become.

STAGEDIVE FAIL

OUCH! Yesterday at the Tragically Hip show in Wolverhampton, Gary Finch did a wicked stage dive only to hit the ground horribly.

"It was idiotic of me really." Gary added as he looked down to the cast on his arm. "I just had a wild moment I guess."

Gary ended up breaking his arm and he won't be able to perform for a week. He should be back in time for The Field Trip Fest but Greggory Marsh will be replacing him until then.

TEEN TITANS: ALREADY RECORDING THE NEW ALBUM


The successful mixed-genre pop band seems to be already recording the new album. The five members (Tanya, Joey, Den, Mimi and Laurence) had been seen on the last week getting out of a Recording Studio in London, before their second show of their latest Generation Tour.

According to their last interviews, the next album seems to be another Electro Pop record, but a source close to the group told us "They decided to grow up again and this time they may go on a more Electro Rock sound. Now Joey can play guitar well and he wants to use this new skill". The source also talks about their style "They also want to grow up on the group style as they are all going to look classier this time".

Pilot want to reveal that they have reunited and begun to rehearse old material. Exactly what this will lead to they are unsure, but currently they are enjoying each others company and enjoying being back in the band dynamic

UPDATE

Following the success of her promo single 'Dance With Danger' 16 year old Indie singer Michelle Green is still recording her upcoming 2nd studio album entitled 'Exiled' scheduled for a late summer release which already has collaborations with the Bards and Katie Coyle! The album is confirmed to be finished this month, followed by a club tour throughout the United States and United Kingdom as well as the official single for the album which will be coming soon before the official release! Hannah Beth Recording Third Album Already!

After the success of her sophomore album Tough and Tender Hannah Beth is already working on her third album in New York. Details about the album are being kept a secret but she does say that it should be coming out in late December and that she has multiple producers helping her including Taylor Asbridge and the newcomer, Gia. The star is reportedly excited about the album and believes it might be better than her last two. Will the album live up to her expectations?

1. Project; Prometheus - Dividing Divinity
“Two of the great musical minds of recent time are set to come together on this mouth-watering prospect, Dividing Divinity. Created by messrs Quillington and Smith, there is a lot of expectations on this album and rarely is a debut album more anticipated, the fact that the genius behind both Infinite and Mind have came together for this is the clear reason why this is number 1. And what with confusion and bewilderment regarding Jason Smith’s current condition, Let’s hope they can deliver.”

“This is one of the most anticipated albums of recent times and it’s a huge amount of pressure on Brittany Knox but she seems to be able to cope with it and the announcement of her first single from the record titled Desert Paradise just seems to have wet the appetite even more. In Culture Uncut’s opinion we see this band as a 21st Century Pink Floyd. And we personally tip their number 1 single, Space Whale Epidemic as one of the best tracks of the year so far.”

People are still excited about 'Dividing Divinity'? Wow, that means so much to me, as I'm surprised people haven't completely forgotten about it. I'm sure if Jason wasn't in some dirt-hole in the middle of who-knows-where, I'm sure he'd be just as happy about this as I am. Things keep coming up to delay the release; his solo album, Infinite's third album, his disappearance. But, you fans will hear the album soon enough. I just hope it lives up to your expectations!

OOC: No problem, and sorry about the wait. I struggled to remember which albums were upcoming and which ones weren't for a little while. I've probably forgotton quite a few people but thanks to those who let me know that they had an album coming soon, it definitely helped.

RIOT! RISING

It seems like there’s a new phenomenon forming in the shape of the lively pop-rock kids Riot! In The Boulevard. Fronted by the extremely excitable 17 year old Amy Meyer, her Songwriting and lively presence onstage has made this bands rise in popularity almost meteoric, they shot on the scene towards the beginning of the year and released debut single, Sweet Little Fantasy’s which sky-rocketed the bands popularity, the single became a number 2 hit and the picked up a huge number of fans following their time as support act in the UK for Fathers Of Fury. They’ve been heavily involved in festival season which has helped enhance their popularity with performances at the 21st IMA’s which was the bands first ever televised performance of Sweet Little Fantasy’s.
The band then followed that performance up at the Festival for Japan on May 7, 2011, where the band performed a four song Setlist to huge praise from critics and peers. This only helped increase the support for the band and their single, Sweet Little Fantasy’s continued to rise. Second single All The Non Believers was released on May 8 and was a relative success, peaking at number 8, it was on the verge of dropping out from the charts last week but following the announcement of their debut album and their performance at the Field Trip Festival, seems to have kick started even more interest in the band and the support looks set to continue in the coming months with the release of their debut album slated for July 24.
With production from both Ryan Ross Hernandez and Damion Holmes it seems like this isn’t even the beginning as the band seem dead set on becoming the most loved new band around.

Amy Meyer has been the subject of the majority of praise for the band, her Songwriting skills have been heavily praised in the past by the likes of Glamazon, Lily and Ryan Ross Hernandez, she is the sole songwriter of the band, as well as Songwriting with the band, she is also the sole creator of an upcoming musical which is set to begin a two month run in Las Vegas, entitled The Nightbirds - Prelude To Love. So it looks like a busy few months are ahead for the band, and we’ll be more interested in seeing where this band can go to in the future, but as of now, their star is definitely rising.

Oh no, Queen Alexis. Queen Alexis took her time out to air herself out after she was outraged for some reason with Britney Mathis from pop group G2L. She took it to Twitter and facebook account:
