G2L: OK! Magazine Interview
-Hi girls. How are you?
Lyrica: Hi.
Hira: We're great, it is lovely to giving this interview.
Aj: I'm great, thanks.
Stefani: Loving touring right now!
Britney: I'm great, pretty tired but I'm hanging in there.
-So you have recently released your second album "Confessions". It's already a success for peaking the n.4 in the UK, which is not even your country. How do you feel about it?
Lyrica: It's quite surprising for us, but exciting at the same time. It shows that with some little promotion our music can do well everywhere.
Stefani: I think it's great thats it's doing so well. To me it shows that we're not just known here but we're known worldwide. (Smiles)
Britney: I feel like its amazing, we have worked so hard to get where we are today. Its a great feeling to feel accomplished with a body of work that you put together!
Hira: I was actually more worried on making it in the UK rather than America. I know that not many US girlbands make it in the UK, it is mostly british bands. So for the album to go top 5 is just amazing.
-You have also released a single, "Under The Moonlight", which has been a success among your fans. Are you going to release another single too soon?
Hira: Yes, single number 3 is in the pipeline. We're not sure on which one will be released, we're kinda torn between "How" and "It's All About Love".
Aj: I'm really pushing the girls to release How, I think it's a perfect follow up to Under The Moonlight. I love it (laughs)
Stefani: Well I think the next single should be 'How'.
Britney: Definitely either Its All About The Love, or How.
-Who are you girls listening to the most these days?
Stefani: I listen to Tisha Jackson, Cassie Valentine is really catching my attention, Alicia Lena, and of course this really great girl group by the name of G2L. (Laughs)
Hira: For me, I'm really enjoying Brown Sugar's work. I am also a big fan of Glamazon, she is so unique and is on her way to becoming a music legend.
Britney: I'm listening to Brittany Knox at the moment, Alicia Lena, Miss Vanity, Stephanie Fierce, Ryan Ross Hernandez.. the list goes on and on..
Lyrica: I think we're listening to every kind of amazing artist out there.
-Are you girls all dating? If not is there anyone you'd like to date?
Aj: I'd like to date Scott Armstrong ... He's pretty cute (laughs) ... Oh yeah, I am dating him. (giggles)
Lyrica: I'm dating Den of Teen Titans. He says to have always loved me a lot but I still can't believe how he could without even knowing me. I think it's true though, and he's cute.
Stefani: I'm not dating and hmm, i don't know. There's a lot of good looking choices out there.
Britney: I have not had anyone special since Danny apart from Justin.
Hira: I'm not dating at the moment. I think it's best if I just focus on the group and the girls. Plus who needs men when I have Lyrica, AJ, Brit & Stef?!
-How do you girls see yourselves in five years?
Lyrica: I wouldn't know. I'd like to have a good life, maybe with kids. And I'd also like to keep making some good music.
Stefani: Hopefully im still with the girls making music.
Hira: Hopefully we'll still be doing this in 5 years time. We'll still be going strong.....dominating the world hopefully (giggles)
Britney: Still going strong! We arent going anywhere!
-Is there anyone of you who may go solo in the future?
Aj: We haven't really had time to think about it really, we've been pretty crazed. But I think it's something we're all interested in doing sometime, It wouldn't mean the end of the group but it's nice to try out different things.
Hira: Well I did the track "Equality" which featured other members of girl bands. I don't think that going solo is for me, I prefer working with my girls.
Lyrica: If it didn't mean the end of the group, then it would be a good idea to me.
Britney: I've got some things going on and I'm already working on some of my own stuff. I've already worked with Electrodeath in the past.
-Would some of you like to do some hosting or acting in the future?
Hira: I'd love to do some acting. I loved Drama in school and being in front of a camera (laughs). Also I've heard that Secrets In Suburbia 2 will be out at the end of this year or next year, I'd love to get a part in that!
Britney: Acting is definitely something I'd like to do in the future.
