Tisha: This is just too much for me for me to bear right now. I am at a lost for words. Even though we wern't that close their was always a level of respect and compassion for eachother their. I will miss her. When I gather my words together, I'll release a better statement. But may her soul rest in peace. Let's leave her soul and family in our prayers.

I really don't know what to say. TMZ's not the most reliable source, but still... I can't imagine that even they would fuck up the report of someone's death. Touring with her on the European leg of the 'Welcome to Hell' tour was one of the highlights of my life, no doubt. The effort she put into her shows, her songs, and her choreography was incredible. She was a true artist, and will be greatly missed.

After giving a disappointing headlining set at the Field Trip Festival in England on 11th June; Vanity flied back out to São Paulo to meet up with her tour crew where they last performed, with plans to head to Auckland, New Zealand for the final tour leg of the Welcome to Hell world tour.

Since then, recent reports had surfaced that Vanity and ex-manager who kidnapped her Steven Bryans were back in contact and his restraining order had been lifted, however, it is unknown what the situation was between the two and if they were even in talks. Although our sources tell us that Steven Bryans was indeed on the plane but managed to survive, however, this is not officially confirmed. Also on the plane was lucky survivor Melissa James who worked as Miss Vanity's hairdresser, only suffering from minor burns from the disaster. We at TMZ were able to talk to her about what happened.

"Everyone was in high spirits, we were all getting ready to celebrate the final leg of Vanity's most successful tour to date" Melissa said. "The plane was just about to take off when we heard a massive thump as the plane hit an object, the force pulled everyone out of their seats and that was when I heard the engines explode, I managed to rush to an emergency exit as quick as I could; firefighters made their way straight over soon after, I looked behind and saw no one else leave the plane with me, that was when it hit me" she added. "I wasn't just a hairdresser to Miss Vanity, I was a fan and most importantly, a friend. Everyone in her entourage were close with her, she made us all feel like one big family, I'm still in shock over what's happened."

Strangely, Melissa James was unable to comment about ex-manager Steven Bryans when asked if he and Vanity were back in contact. "I can't say anything on that" she said.
