With numerous deaths taking place this week, the industry has experienced yet again a mayhem too big for its own good. From heart-wrenching news of Miss Vanity passing. to the whole Katie Coyle incident!
Stephanie Fierce took matters into her own hands, to confirm her acclaimed sister’s death. Fierce was slammed with hurtful negative comments coming from hungry bloggers. Some even claimed that Stephanie Fierce was only doing it to “promote her new record”. Stephanie Fierce was obviously hurt by the assumption and went on a rampage of tweets, coming close to a meltdown, before finally controlling herself.
With all that taking a place, a much more tamed rumor of Stephanie Fierce retiring from Hot Eye Records had spread just recently and we have finally reached out to Stephanie Fierce herself to comment on the matter.
Here’s what she had to say: Quote:“With success comes hard work, and Hot Eye Records has been experiencing a prime time celebration with our acts. However, this week my ability of enunciation was weakened by the tragic passing of our vice president Miss Vanity. Professionally she was my vice president, but in general she my sister and best friend. I’m not all about business, and the atmosphere is always been family with her. So her passing will make it a bit harder for me to run the label all on my own and that’s my next big challenge.
The idea of me retiring from the label was put into question and brought up in a press conference yesterday and in fact was even put forward into action, but before proper confirmation, I changed my mind at the very last minute. I will no longer be a signed act in the label after my fifth album is released though.
However, I’m not retiring from Hot Eye Records as owner and President any time soon. I will continue to serve the label and move forward through the hard times. I feel like all of my hard work and my primary mission will be thrown away if I do retire now.“
No word yet on who the new Vice president of the label will be but Stephanie Fierce said a new vice president is definitely not out of the question for the label’s future. Stephanie Fierce's 5th studio album
"Free" will hit stores June 28, 2011 and the singer-songwriter has already confirmed her shocking sixth studio album titled
"Era of the Queen of Pop" with new rising label TEA Records, founded by Scott H and Raven Comatose.
