Suzie's father pulls off brilliant plan to certify sales for his daughter?
We have realized that Suzie's new single "Love Feels Like Osama Bin Laden" will not have a world premiere until next week where it will go on radio. But the catch is, you may only listen to the single if you purchase it for 99 cent on Itunes&Other Digital outlets. So the expensive promotional commercials you have been seeing on MTV to purchase the single, you can only hear it digitally until next week. This may work as a ladder for opening week sales for the song itself digitally.
Leading up to the single release this past Sunday, Suzie herself has made headlines in the past week showing up out of no where as a cocky, bratty and rich pop act who is known to have a friend relationship with Stephanie Fierce and seems to have bought her way into the music industry. Her father has paid TEA record label 1.5 million dollars to promote his daughter and have her on the label.
For the people who have already bought the single, the controversial and sleezy lyrics over the sampled Stephanie Fierce beat has had very negative to mixed reviews slamming Suzie's vocals yet complimenting the strong rap verse from Stephanie Fierce which might have been another brilliant plan by her father to get his daughter higher on the charts. (Stephanie is soaring through 2011 as a top act.)
So will the brilliant strategic efforts by Suzie's father be enough to make his daughter score somewhat nice on the chart coming to the end of the week, or will it be a failure?
Surprisingly, the song is projected to do quite well on Swedish single charts from Suzie's celebrity prior to making it on a broader spectrum having reached Swedish Maxim's Hot 100 at #40 in 2009. However these might just be theories.
Will her ego, her money, and buxoms get her at least somewhere on the charts when we have other strong artists new singles charting this Sunday like the highly anticipated Brittany Knox, or the chart champions Buzz & Hype. We can only stay tuned!
