A track from Chanel's highly RNB/Blues album, 'Born into Music' that is coming out soon. Basket of Roses is the second lead single from the album. Prouducers Will.i.Roca and Tevin Booker prouduced the track. The song is a one of a kind. Chanel takes easy vibe instrumentals and turn this song into a daydream fanstay for many guys. Songwriting by Chanel and vocals mainly by her. She wanted to show her vocal performance without any background singers. The track gives you smooth guitar strings with a touch of heart instrumentals that is barely heard in the background by smoothes out the sound of a movement of slow dancing. An perfect track to turn too when you want to dine with wine, slow dance with a special someone and relax, maybe sex later. Her vocals are so presented by her life- the emotions and smoothes of a touch of control that she has never done before. Sharp notes that Mariah Carey does often in her RNB tracks, but Chanel keeps her voice on the blues side with this track- Patti Labelle control, that is her signature, but gives you that blues toned with a Aretha Franklin erch and range in her vocal performance. The first verse smoothes, uses her normal vocal ablity. The hook and chrous then gives you Aretha blues feel to it, more of a high vocal, singing from the heart. The verse two returns to the normal vocal, but she gives you a little attuide along coming into the hook and chrous. She ends the bridge with the low deep voice that she oftens does with she wants to relax her voice before hitting any notes. It's a one of a kind song- something different for Chanel.
