OOC: All i know is that the down time today blowed! I was supposed to do an album release but I was playing a music festival at 3 pm about 4 hours away so ive been gone allday. Anyway I think he's posting my long ass RP tomorrow

Bill Owens: It's time for THE BIG THING...The Headliners of the festival...Welcome to Suburban Sunrise




The lights go down on the main stage of Rever Festival and people begin to cheer as they wait for the headlining band Suburban Sunrise to come on. As the cheers begin to erupt from the crowd Matt and Nicole are standing back stage waiting to go on. As the two look at each other Matt runs onto the stage grabs his guitar and begins to play and intro along with the rest of the touring band. As the intro ends the intro for their song “Kill Rejoice Kill” begins to play and Nicole runs onto the stage and the crowd cheers. As Nicole begins singing some of the crowd sings along. As the song picks up the whole band beings to feed off the energy from the crowd and begins to jump and rock out. As the song comes to an end the crowd cheers and Joey hit’s the hi-hat three times and the band goes into an old song “Lines.” As the crowd notices what song it is they all cheer and begin to jump and sing along with the band. As the band continues to play the song Nicole walks over to the barricade and reaches into the crowd only to have people try to pull her in. Nicole pulls away from the crowd and runs back onto the stage to finish the song. As the song ends a siren begins to play over the loud speaker. As the siren goes a monotone voice plays over the siren and says “This is the end of the beginning.” As the voice ends the siren dies out and the piano intro to “Two Birds, One Stone” begins playing. As the band plays the song people begin to crowd surf. As the song hit’s its slow part the crowd begins to sway back and forth. As the slow part ends as giant bass drop hits and the crowd goes crazy. People begins pushing and shoving their way up to the front. When the song comes to an end the crowd cheers and yells as the band goes silent.

Nicole: Hello Rever fest! cheers We are Suburban Sunrise how is everyone feeling tonight!? the crowd erupts Well we are really happy to be here and to be headlining this awesome festival. We have a lot of songs to play for you guys tonight so we are going to get going. I want to see everyone moving out there tonight especially on this one. This song is called “Doesn’t Mean Its Legal!”




As soon as Nicole announces the song the band goes straight in the song and the crowd erupts with cheers and screams. As the song goes on Nicole stands on the edge of the stage and looks out to see the crowd singing along with her and jumping to the beat of the song. The song comes to a close and the crowd cheers as a jazz age style intro begins playing and no one in the crowd recognizes it. As the intro slows down the violin intro to “Take Your Own Love” begins playing and the crowd screams and goes crazy with excitement. As the band plays the song many people in the crowd begin to crowd surf their way up to the front to get closer to the stage. As the song ends the crowd calms down and someone is dropped from crowd surfing.

Matt: Holy shit! You guys are amazing! cheers How many of you have our new album “When All Else Fails… Run” which came out today? cheers come from all over the arena Well this is a new song off that album. This song is called “2012!” The crowd erupts as Matt announces the song

As the fast drum roll kicks off the song the crowd cheers and jumps to the fast tempo of the song. As the song goes on Nicole goes back over to the barricade and reaches into the crowd again and this time get pulled into the crowd and is hoisted up by the fans and continues to sing the song with people grabbing at her mic. As the song slows down the security guard grabs Nicole out of the crowd and she goes back onto the stage.

Nicole: You guys are amazing! Is it ok if we play some acoustic jams for you guys? cheers Ok well Matt and I are going to play some songs acoustically. This first one we are going to play is called “Vulture.” crowd erupts Well I guess you guys know it! Well it goes like this!

Matt begins to strum the chords of the song and the crowd screams and begins to sway back and forth as Nicole begins singing. As the sun sets to black and the stage lights fully come on the crowd takes out their cell phones and sway with the beat back and forth. Matt looks out onto the crowd to see the whole audience swaying back and smiles. As they continue the song the majority of the crowd is singing along with the words. Nicole cuts out at a part and allows the crowd to sing

“We’re all just the vultures
Waiting for something to feed on
But I know that we, will move on
And remember my name



As the crowd sings it Nicole comes back in. As the song ends the crowd cheers. When the song finishes Nicole goes straight into the acapella intro for the old song “Song For the Lovers.” As Nicole starts off the song the crowd cheers and continues to sing along with her. Through the song when Matt would hit a quieter note the crowd would cheer. Then the song comes to an end and the crowd cheers as Matt and Nicole take a sip of their water bottles sitting right next to the stools they are sitting on

Matt: You guys still with us? crowd cheers Sweet well we got two more acoustics for you guys!
Nicole: Is that alright with all of you if we play a couple more acoustic songs? the crowd erupts with cheers Awesome! Well this is a really old one. Its called “Which Way Is Up?” And I really want you all to sing it with me as loud as you can on three. Ok we are going to do the chants right now. One, Two, one two three!

When Nicole says three she begins to sing with the crowd singing with her

Oh woaaahh
Oh woah woah woah(OOC: Imagine some cool chants in there :P)

As the two play the song the crowd cheers and sings along with Nicole. As the two play the song Matt sits on the edge of the stage with his feet hanging off and looks out to see the insane fan girls reaching for his legs. As he continues to play the song he jumps down from the stage and stands up on the barrier and looks out into the huge arena filled with people, shakes his head smiles and walks back over to the stage and climbs back up at the end of the song. As the song ends Matt goes into the familiar chord progression for “Torn Filthy Love” and the entire crowd cheers. When Nicole hears the cheers she is blown away with the response and reaches the mic off of the stage and listens to the fans sing

Oh oh oh oh oh
I know you want to taste my torn filthy love

Nicole comes back in and the crowd cheers. As the song comes to an end the rest of the band walks back onto the stage and the crowd cheers when the stage hands run out and take away the stools and hand Matt his electric back

Mike: Hello there Rever Fest! cheers For those of you who don’t know who I am my name is Mike and im filling in on guitar for awhile. Are you guys ready to bring the energy back up? cheers come from every direction Alright well when this song starts I want to see EVERYONE go crazier then they ever have! Lets see a fire break out on the floor! This one is called “Song In the Dark!” Lets go!

The crowd erupts in cheers as Mike yells out the name and Matt begins to play the hard intro. As the rest of the instruments come in the crowd begins to jump and crowd surf again after the short acoustic break. As the song hit’s the first verse people begin to open up some mosh pits throughout the crowd and the people take the energy up higher then they ever have during the night. Through the song Nicole is jumping up and down on the stage.

Matt: Do you guys want to hear a new song? crowd cheers Alright this one is called “Stalker!”

Joey suddenly hit’s the snare three times and the band goes into the fast passed song and the crowd continues to jump, and keep up the high energy. Due to the fact the song used to be one of Matt’s acoustic songs the crowd knows the majority of the lyrics and sings along the whole time. When people are crowd surfing they are staying over the barricade to watch the show and security guard begin forcefully throwing people away from the stage and people fall on top of each other and begin to pile up on the floor right by the end of the stage. When the song ends Nicole looks at the security guard



Nicole: Hey dude what the fuck! Let them be your going to hurt someone. Fucken shit

As Nicole finishes yelling at the Security guard the band goes into the old song “The Leaving Scene.” The crowd cheers and begins to pick up the energy up despite the security guards. As people continue to be forcefully thrown away from the security and keep getting hurt Nicole leans off the side of the stage and slaps the security guard hard on the back of the head. The song ends and the intro for “Cry Me a River” begins to play and the crowd begins to cheer. The song is a lot slower then the others and people stand around singing along with Nicole as the songs break hits Joey begins to slowly build up the tension by hitting the floor tom and snare together at the same time and as the tension reaches the top and the band hits the heavy part of the song people begin to jump again and bring back up the energy from the slow relaxed energy. As the song ends the entire crowd is cheering.

Matt: Have guys had fun tonight? crowd erupts Well we sure have! There are a few more songs left from us and this one you might know it. Its by and artist called Lady Gaga. Its called “Just Dance“crowd erupts and screams at the top of their lungs out of excitement Well obviously you guys know it so lets have some fun!

Matt hit’s the opening guitar notes and the crowd begins to cheer. The full band comes in a people begin to jump and dance along to the beat. Nicole begins to sing and you can automatically hear the entire crowd begin to sing along with her. The band pumps up the song a little bit and inserts a breakdown towards the end. As the band hit’s the breakdown the entire crowd screams and people re-open the mosh pits from earlier. The song ends and the entire arena is erupting in excitement. Through all the screaming the old record player intro for “What Do You Mean By Dead?” Begins to play and the crowd begins to go crazy due to such a rare song by the band to play. As the song fully kicks in the crowd begins to scream and jump along with the hard beat of the song. Many of the newer SS fans don’t know the song because it is off of their very first EP but some of the crowd does and sings along with Nicole. Nicole then breaks out from the song and lets the crowd sing

“I want to see you burn your way
Into my heart, but you cant stay
For more then a minute
I know that I feel like you’ve made me die”

When the song ends the entire crowd cheers and screams

Nicole: You guys have been awesome tonight thank you so much. This is going to be our last song for all of you. it’s a new one. This song is called “Might Not Make It” and we want to see everyone go crazy

The crowd cheers as the vocal/guitar intro begins to play and to the bands surprise a lot of the crowd knows the song even the album was released today. Through the song people jump up and down go crazier then they have during the entire set. More and more people crowd surf and start to over whelm the security guards. As the song comes towards the end Matt throws his guitar off and lets Mike finish out the song. Matt walks over to the barricade with Nicole and the two jump into the crowd simultaneously and the crowd cheers as the hold up the two. The security guards grab Matt and Nicole and bring them back into stage area and the two climb back up. The song ends and the crowd begins to cheers and scream at the top of their lungs louder then during all the set

Nicole: You guys have been fucking awesome! We love you all good night!
