Overview: The song is the second part the concept part of the album. We decided that we would have Eric Quillington be the guy on the talkshow doing the psych profile but he has an actual singing role on another part of the album.

Sound:
The song begins with the sound of a car's door opening, the dashboard beeps telling the driver to close the door but the sound persists for half a minute before there's a bit of static and a man begins talking, he's a radio announcer and he's giving updates on a recent string of murders. The second talking spot after the first bit of lyrics is Dr. Cunningham played by the wonderful Eric Quillington of Infinite. The lyrics in blue are Renee's and she plays the hapless victim in this song. Gary voices Graham and Winston does his mind's screams. As the song comes to an end and the radio talk of Cunningham is overlapped by the sound of a knife piercing through flesh and Renee's screams.

[Most people think that Serial Killers have toil in their lives previous to the events that they do once they reach infamy but most are actually faced with Psychological Disorders. A rather bad trait that we discovered in a Serial Killer, Matthew Bates, was that he was a uh, Sociopath and he found nothing wrong with murdering young women and children...]

[...and uh...yeah. I foresee the Ripper being a middle aged man who probably had problems in his youth stemming from an overactive imagination. From the precision of the slashes and cuts on the bodies of his victims, I can sum up that he must have a medical background. It's horrible really, to think that a person designated to helping others would move down such a path.]

The video opens on a man, Graham Winchester driving down the road with a female passenger. They make light small talk as they drive down the highway before they come across a large grass field. The two begin to kiss and gradually get closer and closer to having sex before Graham’s eyes roll back into his head...

The next sequence is the sound of slashes and blood splattering intermixed with screams. It lasts for about 5 seconds before...

Graham awakens in the driver’s seat of his car. It’s now night time and he looks in the back seat to find the dead and mutilated body of his date. He looks towards his bloody hands and frowns. He opens the door of his car(signifiying the beginning of the song) as he looks out to the night in a sad/broken mood.

The shot of Graham looking out to the sky lasts for half a minute as the dashboard beeps. Graham finally reaches back and turns the knobs of his radio, causing a radio show featuring Dr. Cunningham(voiced by Eric Quillington) to come on.



Immediately after this, during the first bout of lyrics there’s blurry flashbacks to his first murders. Graham stabbing a woman in a dark alley, in the backseat of his car and finally on the side of a dark road.


Back in the present, Graham cleans the blood from his hands as he continues to listen to the radio show.



FLASHBACK to an event when Graham was a child and a younger girl attempts to wake him up...



The FLASH furthers, to the moment that Graham and his date first met. They both talk and after a few moments, lock lips. With a grin Graham takes her hand and begins to lead her out of the restaurant and into her car.

CUT to Graham hacking away at her body with the knife during the screaming vocals.

Finally, the song ends slowly as Graham finally gets himself together and begins to drive off, the radio slowly tuning down.
