I'm pretty happy, I went from paying £45 tax last week in my new job, to only paying about £10 this week now that my tax code is corrected. Plus I'll be able to claim about £215 in a tax rebate from last year, also apparently working tax credit or maybe some amount of housing benefit due to only working 30 hours... Working really is worth it. Especially since I am working 10 hours less than I was when I was in a call centre, and earning only £10 less. That and the job is literally to stand around for 2hrs in the early morning and 2hrs in the late afternoon. Low stress, unlike working to AHT targets of 6 minutes per call... Ugh. Applied for uni accomodation, sorted out some press work for my EP, starting recording properly soon once I get a new adapter and a couple leads I lent a friend, piano tracks are already done and most of the six demos have been finalised.
Also been browsing around for decent haircut ideas lately too, I want to hack the majority of it off and put some black in because I'm really bored and find two-tone hair quite endearing at the moment. |
