Brittany Knox surges to the top 5 on radio charts

Brittany Knox is indeed on fire! As her new single off her upcoming second album, Desert Paradise surged to the top 5 on radio charts in its first week at #5! Making this Brittany's highest first week charting so far on the Top 20 aside from the Christmas Chart back in December where her Christmas song came in strong at #3 after Junction Records "Do They Know Its Christmas" & Band Aid TRSG (in which served as one of the artists on the song). Her new song is also projected to make a nice impact on the Digital Charts, but we will have to wait till Wednesday. This is what she had to say pertaining to the singles success

Monk On Fire Music and Shooting Star Records get Cinzia On a Shared Deal!

Please welcome one of the hottest free agents on the market, Cinzia Ricci, to both Monk On Fire Music and Shooting Star Records! We are delighted to have signed her to a 2 album deal! Cynthia Sanchez of Shooting Star Records found a hot prospect - but MattY wasn't going to let this one go without a fight!


Cinzia is the oldest of four siblings; she has two younger siblings and one younger brother. None of her siblings are interested in music however. Her parents are immigrants from Italy who moved to the United States for a better opportunity. They moved when Cinzia was 9, they moved to a small town called Altamont, Utah which has a population under 500. They didn’t have much as first so Cinzia took up singing as a hobby. Even when she was given more things to do as her parent’s income increased she still loved to sing no matter what she did. Her parents, who now make a decent living with their own pet shop, support Cinzia fully and know she will be a star someday. Cinzia’s other hobbies include designing clothes for her freelance enjoyment and she also likes to act.

Cinzia was bullied at school a lot because she had a heavy accent. She was also bullied for her parents barely being able to understand English. All this bullying has caused her to get hot-headed at times and doesn’t like it when people mess with her; she likes to mess with them. The bullying deeply affected her and after she ended high school she had hired a person to help her learn English much better and to the point where she doesn’t have much of an accent. Cinzia has also learned to not let people get in between you and your dreams, after watching her parents go from rags to semi-riches.

When ShootingAces records were looking for their first members to sign to a contract, Cinzia was the runner-up to TheStatNerds for the first mainstream artist to get a contract. So she resents everything TheStatNerds do, but it's still her dream to join any major record label, and in 2011 she got that chance after signing a major deal with a new management company, Cinzia has since moved to Los Angeles.

Foxxy was born Taylor Elizabeth Fox on the 18th September 1993 in Billericay, Essex, England. Her parents, Andrew and Elizabeth, were always supportive of Taylor throughout her school days, and she was a very bright girl from a very early age.
Upon starting high school at the age of 12, Taylor was to develop her own style and attitude. She would create a hairstyle which she still wears to this day, which would turn heads and attract laughter and awe at the same time.
She was a reasonably popular girl in high school, and always achieved grades of a sufficient quality to eventually fulfill her dream of attending college to study fashion.
At the age of 16, and whilst still at high school, Taylor would also take on a part time job at her local McDonald's fast food outlet, in order to build up funds for her career at university. It was, ironically, in this job where her true dream would be realised.
In August 2010, because of the skill she had shown for the trade, Taylor was granted early entry into UCL to study for a 3 year fashion degree, despite being only 16 years old. She started the course in September of 2010, and would travel to London daily from Billericay.
On weekends, Taylor would also still work at her part time job...but she was slowly building a reputation for something other than flipping burgers and cooking fries. The rise of the UK grime scene, and artists such as Dizee Rascal and Tinchy Strider, had grabbed Taylor's interest, and she would often rap along to the radio during shifts.
Latterly however, Taylor began to make people laugh with her comedy rapping skills, and would often find herself getting in trouble with management for rapping whilst serving a customer, or through the drive-thru headset. Her rapping skill moved back and forth between serious and comedy, and with the support of friends and colleagues behind her, Taylor began to really believe in her own ability.
In June of 2011, Taylor adopted the nickname Foxxy, derived from her own surname (Fox) and her pride and joy, her individual red hair.
Foxxy is now looking to announce herself to the industry, and become one of the biggest grime stars in the UK...and the world.

Hannah Beth Rushed To The Hospital!

Hannah Beth was reportedly rushed to the hospital last night after complaining of stomach pains, nausea, dizziness, and a fever. According to her manager, the 23 year old was a victim of food poisoning. She started complaining around the evening that she was feeling sick and dizzy. She thought it was just a little cold or something and that it would go away but a couple of hours later, she complained about stomach pains and she started running a fever. She was then taken to the hospital, which she is NOT a fan of, and found out she had food poisoning.

She is expected to make a full recovery and be out of the hospital tomorrow. So what do you think? Did she get it accidentally or did someone try to poison her? I smell something fishy. ;)

This track is just like a intro to who I am yeah? It ain't realy a reflection on the sorta work what I do know? It's just like "Yo, here's Foxxy, I'm gonna shoot some rhymes at ya, just to show ya what I can do ya know? So I hope people feel it, and like it. It's a total grime track, like right in wif the UK scene at the moment yeah? I'm well pleased wif 'ow it came owt in the end though yeah?

Track description


The track starts with a football (soccer) crowd chanting "who are ya?" a couple of times, before a record scratches, and some mid paced dance beats start, with a low key synth in the background. The music stays pretty much the same throughout the track, and Foxxy raps in the style of Professor Green, for this track anyway.

For the chorus, a male voice (unknown) sings the "Who are ya?" Parts, and Foxxy raps again, slower, but more agressively.

The song as a whole is pretty basic, but gives Foxxy a chance to flaunt her rhymes.

It seems like Brittany Knox is on fire right now, within two weeks the debut single off her upcoming sophomore album Desert Paradise has managed to sell a staggering 479,000 copies with just two weeks of release. But all the success of the single isn't slowing the momentum driven Brittany Knox down, she now sets her sites on her a promotional single entitled 'Bonnie's Redemption'.


The song was produced by Jason Smith, making this the first release ever of Brittany's that was produced by the rock genius. This is what Knox had to say herself:

The song itself isn't as Dance driven as Desert Paradise but maintains the New Wave core base and it sends a message. Its very strong, very deep and a lot of people that listen to the song will feel connected because it talks about redeeming yourself but isn't written so straight forward, you actually have to listen to the song.

Brittany puts herself in Bonnie Parker's shoes for the song... and if you dont know who Bonnie Parker is, then you dont know about notorious female figures.....


The first listen of the song isn't known at this time, but it should be announced very soon!
