Katie news update - Album, reviews, plus more


Hi everyone. It's Katie here. I know I've been a very quiet girl over the last little while. ButI wanted to tell everyone what's going on with me, so this is just a little news bulletin from me.

- Raindrops.... is still sitting at number one, for a second successive week! This is just amazing, and I want to thank everyone for keeping on buying the album. It means the world to me, because, as you all know, I put so much into the album. It wqas my real heart and soul. It would be great if you guys could keep on buying and see it go to number one for 3 whole weeks!!

- One downside to the album though. Jake Wilson gave me a review at the weekend. He gave it a 7/10, which is ok, I suppose, but I was so upset that he thinks I should sing about less personal things in my life. Like I say, everything on that CD was true honesty. But I have to listen to what the world tells me, and I'm considering how my stuff will now sound in the future. Look out for a possible change in the next album's sound!

- In just 2 and a half weeks, Katie will be hitting the road again, this time with the amazing and beautiful GLAMAZON! Like you all know, she is my favourite singer ever. I'm gunna be so star struck! But I can't wait! I'll see you all out there!

- I just got announced as touring with MIND, INFINITE and REPORTED FAILURE from November through January! This is unreal! How can I be touring with bands such as these?? I still can't actually take it in....but it's gonna be so exhilarating!!

So for now, I think that's about all I have for you guys! I'm gonna hit the studio with Hannah Beth next week if she's feeling better. So maybe I will have more news on that at some point in the near future!

Katie: Awww thank you Amy, you are very sweet! I know I should listen to fans more than critics, and it is doing so well with the fans too. But these critics have loud voices, and I let them get to me! I'm going to try and close them out more. Maybe just ignore them and listen to my friends and my fans. I am so happy you like my album, and I can't wait to hear yours, cos it will be amazing :)

Katie Coyle - European Tour Announcemnt


Katie Coyle has released full details of her autumn tour around Europe. As promised, the tour will also take in the dates which were cancelled at the end of the UK tour (original tickets still valid).

The dates for the tour are as follows:

September 27th - Paris, France - Elysée Montmartre
Septmember 29th - Stuttgart, Germany - Longhorn
September 30th - Kaufbeuren, Germany - Karthalle
October 2nd - Cologne, Germany - Live Music Hall
October 3rd - Oberhausen, Germany - Turbinenhalle
October 5th - Hamburg, Germany - Markthalle
October 8th - Gothenburg, Sweden - Tródgern
October 9th - Stockholm, Sweden - Arenan
October 11th - Den Bosch, Netherlands - W2

Prices are 20 Euros in mainland Europe, 20 pounds in the UK, and 22 pounds for the London show.

Katie: hi guys! My promoters wanted me to tell you all that tickets for the European tour will go on sale from tomorrow morning. It will be 9am local time across the board, and i guess be quick, because this awesome line up should help sell out these venues!! :D
Oh and also, if you are a Katie fan club member, then you can buy tickets from 2pm today (local time) on the pre order site, with the code you can find in your profile page.
