So it turns out that Mind have sneakily recorded some songs behind our backs. The information about the album has been released today. It is following Shattered Fairytale and Dream Serpent in the Paladins story and is to be titled To Hold All. Apparently, it is "darker, lighter, heavier, softer, uglier, prettier and more profound than anything that Mind have ever done." It is comprised of two "acts", so to say, each made up of 5/6 songs. The full concept is to be explained later. It is their first record since Stevie Moxey was made the new drummer. A release date has not been set yet, but it is expected that Mind will do another track-by-track and release it at the end. It is also believed that this album is the penultimate part in this certain story, with one more chapter left in the concept.

The following comprises of leaked album art, song titles and track lengths.

So we thought we'd better UNLEASH!!! our first song in a year or so on you. Ready? This won't be the single, it'll just be the first song released. It's WAAAAY too heavy for a single, probably the heaviest on the whole album. It is entitled The Concept of a Nightmare, and is the shortest "proper" song on there. It references Lyophilisation at points, but it's not blatantly obvious on first listen. Massive thanks to the Prague Symphony Orchestra.

The Concept of a Nightmare (4:54) (Technical Death Metal/ Symphonic Metal)

A driving, forceful combination of violins and war drums introduces, in a building crescendo and the tension is mounting. In the background, you can hear blast beats starting to fade in, alongside a heavy, groovy guitar. At approximately the 30 second mark, everything breaks down and it goes into an extremely technical, hard hitting and heavy riff. The drums are pure death metal, with slight grindcore and punk influences and with Harry playing a slap bass. After this intro is done, it turns faster, almost thrashy, and Jason lets out a massive bellow, with him yelping the lyrics of the chorus beneath it. This riff continues with different variations and a gallop develops. The violins and other orchestral instruments join in, such as brass, drums and a choir repeating the chorus slowly in the background to build tension. Jason then shouts the long segment in the middle, almost as if in a strained rant. Aaron plays a complicated mixture of arpeggios and power chords in the background whilst this happens. On his guitar, Jason plays alongside the gallop. Stevie is using the double-bass here quite extravagantly. After this part, it then goes back into a thrashy rhythm and subsequently a duel guitar solo, with a third guitar setting the rhythm in the background. This utilises Jasons triple-layered guitar technique of producing. The bridge is then shouted by Aaron and Harry, underneath another longer, more pained scream of Jason. Then, everything slows down, to a bluesy rhythm. A massive, epic, confusing guitar solo is played by Jason, reminiscent to something Pink Floyd may have done. This lasts for about 25 seconds, before it speeds up into the “hunt down” part, which consists of Jason having double tracked vocals for the entirety of the verse. It then goes back to the chorus, before violins play the song out amongst an electronic ticking in the background and demonic voices.

You fell from your perch on top of your sanity,
The only thing that exceeded your hate was your vanity,
So when I ask only this of your my dear,
I ask, can’t you see me standing right here?

You’re not perfect,
You will never be,
Your deceit, it knows no boundaries,
Your own futility,
This dream of yours is null and void,
You’re too pretentious to understand,
That knowledge and superiority,
Doesn’t even make a man,
The lucid power beckons,
Are you going to take the bait?
It seems the tide is turning,
In an awful twist of fate.
You will not be welcome,
You will not be free,
The only thing that will remain,
Is your curiosity,
You sicken to the stomach,
You chill to the bone,
Go ahead, I dare you,
Pick up the fucking phone.
Can you even be bothered?
Do you even care?
I am just stood here,
Waiting in your nightmare.

Go down!
Bow down!
To the gods that you’ve fabricated!
Go down!
Bow down!
Are you happy understanding yourself?
So you’d!
Love to!
Run from all the horror and the pain!
Hunt down!
Bow down!
WOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAH!!

You fell from your perch on top of your sanity,
The only thing that exceeded your hate was your vanity,
So when I ask only this of your my dear,
I ask, can’t you see me standing right here?

'To Hold All' just sounds amazing, as is all your usual stuff. Due to just how orgasmic and sexy your music is, I'll probably be holding on to a part of myself while listening to this album. Heh, get it?

Kid Anything- Indie/Britpop/Shoegaze; influenced by Sigur Ros, XXYYXX, Kanye West, Blur, Oasis

(Bringing together an eclectic group of influences, Ulysses' songs are sung with carefree abandon by Nick Junk)

Nick Junk - Vocals, Mojo

Infinite- Alternative/Experimental Rock; influenced by Muse, Radiohead, and The Beatles

(Known best for their experimental music and their frontman's eccentric behavior, the band disbanded after Eric Quillington's death to pursue solo careers or, in Matt Robert's case, peace of mind. Matt Roberts - Bass
Greg Oldson - Drums, Backup Vocals, Secondary Lyricist
Amelia Florentine - Keyboards, Piano, Lyricist, Backup Vocals

"When asked 'how do you write?' I invariably answer, 'one word at a time', and this answer is invariably dismissed. But that's all it is. It sounds too simple to be true, but consider the Great Wall of China, if you will: one stone at a time, man. That's all. One stone at a time. But I've read you can see that motherfucker from space without a telescope."
