I've got a story to be told first but if you read through it, I would be glad to hear your advice.

My sister Shelby has a friend whom we will call Alice for now. Alice and Shelby have been friends for a while.

Me and Alice are becoming friends as well...

If any of you have guessed where this is going then congratulations but just in case I will explain further.

I am 16 years old, while Alice is 14. Recently Shelby and Alice have spent a majority of the time they spend together, spending time with me as well. During this time I have noticed that I am quite fond of Alice. We usually spend most of the time making jokes while Shelby laughs at the two of us. When Shelby does make a joke, Alice laughs politely but always seems to laugh a little...too long when I make a joke. I may have been reading this wrong but...hmm...

Last Thursday Shelby and Alice were up late as was I. Finally Shelby said she was going to bed and Alice complained that she would be alone. Shelby told her to have me come hang out with her. Though she would never admit it and has told me otherwise, I suspect Shelby may have done this on purpose but I ended up staying up from 1 AM until 8 AM watching movies and making jokes with Alice alone. Nothing particularly interesting happened other than I fell for her.

Since then, I'm quite sure I would like to spend more time with her. This was actually the second time I've went through the night with her alone like this. Both times, Shelby went to "bed".

I'm just wondering what to do, because I'm not really positive she would have anything in terms of feelings for me. I'm definitely not her type, she would prefer Lewis heavily. lol

A while ago, the info that I "liked" Alice got out and Alice found out while we were all sitting around telling jokes (we do that a lot). She acted very calm but joked about being repulsed and the night was spent making fun of me for it. Since then, Shelby told Alice that it was just a prank that we had planned. According to Shelby, Alice acted unsurprised and uninterested.

Either way this is the only girl who I have went from liking a little to a lot instantly and the ONLY girl whom I like who I have ever been confident and comfortable having a conversation with, even if its only sarcastic wise-cracks.


So what do you guys think?

Yea, thats definitely a haunting problem in my mind. I'm just thinking it of like this, I am an extremely immature 16 year old in ways relating to this and she on the other hand is extremely mature for 14. I guess it could just be me justifying it within my own head but I feel like it could be worth something. Obviously I'm smart enough to not expect everything, but it feels like something.

Plus, a year is a long time to be around somebody and not ever bring it up.

My real main problem and worry is screwing up her friendship with my sister.

Another thing worth mentioning, is I know that at both our ages thats its likely to be over within no-time anyway...so is it really worth it? Just dont know what to do.

If there's one thing I've learned from living, it's just go for it if you want it. The worst that can happen is she says no, but if you leave it for all you know it might turn into one of those things you regret or whatever. If you like her, why not. Can't fight your heart.

And I doubt she'd be into me, I treat women horrendously hahah.

Okay, lesbian girl advice here.
It's obvious she likes you. When straight girls feel totally comfortable with a straight guy to spend so much time with and never complain to your sister why she goes to bed so early and never asks her to be with the two of you, it's your answer.
So here's my advice: when you two are alone, compliment her in some physical aspect. Of course, don't say 'omg, your boobs are so big' or 'you're so fucking hot'...say something nice about her hair or her face...Then you stop and continue doing whatever you're doing if there are no negative reactions.
She'll spend some time thinking of your intentions and if she should go for it or not if anything happens. After some time you try a physical approach, but not kissing or anything, just get closer. If she doesn't make a weird face or back off, you keep approaching her. If the mood is all good, you give her a kiss on the cheek and say you're very fond of her. If it works you'll be making out and having sex quite soon :) (jk about the last part).
That's how I work, and I get a lot of success :)
