Fan: What is your favorite memory about doing your music so far? [From Hollywood, CA; Kayla]
Chanel: Good question! It's so many girl, but I'll have to say, getting signed to Tric-Jam because that was always a big dream of mines girl. I mean, since a little girl, dreamin' of getting signed to a record label and actually getting a chance to live my dreams, YES! Finally came true.

Fan: Why do you think your mom was so hard on you as a child? [Albany, NY; James]
Chanel: Honey child, I use to always ask myself that question too and I realized because some woman in my family really got connected with drugs, sex and abuse, voilence. Really got involved with a life that way when they will not come home at night, cheatin' on their husbands, just a lifestyle that was just out of this world crazy. Stunning woman, just heartbroken and ruined their lives based on what they have seen as a kid. So my mom didnt want me to be like my auntie's. She wanted more from me..

Fan: What's your favorite color? [Virginia Beach, Virginia; Alexandra]
Chanel: Girl, you know what? Yo girl is stuck between two colors; Purple and white. So.. I don't want to give you the wrong answer girl! So I will have to say, white; I love white. My mom use to ask me, " Why white girl, it's so plain!" and I will reply, " So! It's my favorite color and WHAT!?" (smiles) thanks sweetie for that question.

Fan: Do you play any instrumentals? [Nassau, Bahamas; Musiq]
Chanel: I actually do. I play piano, learned when I was ten from my grandfather. It was the amazing I have ever learned. Just the excitement and the sound of a piano.. is relaxin' girl. YES, I'm very glad I learned.

Fan: When you was in school, what kind of girl were you? Popular? Akward? [Memphis, Tennessee; Taylor]
Chanel: I was the chick from yo block girlfriend! I mean, I was the kind of girl, outgoing and very outspoken and fun. So in school, when people heard my yet so loud voice (laughs) people will always say, " Girl, there goes Chanel!" Because I owned it. I try to always be myself, try dedicated to myself; not try and be like everyone else. I was that chick was can be everybody's friends, but dont step on my toes- or you will have an new monster on yo shoulders baby! YES. I was very nice and very outgoing, so in school, just myself and being strong and so much girly. (laughs)

Fan: What is your worst memory about school? (Seattle, Washington; Lezile]
Chanel: I remember when I was sitting at a lunch table and I got up, right? And this jerk named Thomas, I could NOT stand that BOY! Lord a Mercy! (laughs) but I was walking and he was running towards me and I was trying to get out of his way, but it was to late- ice cream and ketchup got all over my white shirt and I had to wear that shirt all day. It was horrible. I still talk to him today and I always want to kill him when I think about that. Stupid.. (laughs)

Fan: What do you think when you create music? [Riverside, Colorado; Jake]
Chanel: Sometimes I just really think deeply about my thoughts and my life. Go into more deep meaning and that's why I create my music, based on my mood that where the instrumentals and the amazing work my team does. I'm the type of girl, I think a lot, no matta what I'm thinkin' about. I overthink about because I'm so curious about certain things and I think, write and experience on my music. Good question.. mhm. Jake! YES.

Fan: What are some of your favorite things to do? [New York, New York. Deja]
Chanel: Good QUESTIONNNN girl! I love to eat, yes yes ma'am! I love to get down with my family and friends. That's why my coach cleaned out my icebox with sweets or fat foods. (shakes head) but, I love to go out to the beach, shop and I love to read, strangely. I also love to dance, go out and sight seeing. I'm the relaxed crazy girl, So anything that is fun- Let's go!!!! I'm very party free. I dont go to parties a lot, but I will always throw a little party myself at my home, even if it's me, myself and I (smiles)

Fan: What kinds you grounded and strong? [New Orleans, LA; Crystal]
Chanel: YES YES. I love New Orleans, that's my second hometown girl! Me keeps me grounded and I had to make sure I do because all the amazing success. My mom raised me and I know what she expects from me, myself and my decisions. That's keeps me grounded and also surroading myself around postive people, always. Keeps me strong is learn everyday that can make me a stronger and better person.

Fan: What do you do when you have days off? [South Carolina; L.J]
Chanel: I love to sit at home, watch romantic or action movies, eat junk food and just watch movies. Have friends over and we have a big movie night. But I invite crazy people so i'll be fun!

Fan: If you can choose one person to work with, who will it be?
Chanel: The amazing Alicia Lena. She is an amazing artist and writer. My type of chick to work on good music with.
