With the wait of Exiled being hotly anticipated and the race for the real queen of Indie Pop hotter then ever, Michelle Green has just recently released what could be an instant hit in 'You Just Lost Your Lover' the Indie Pop/Jazz masterpiece produced by none other then the amazing Ryan Ross Hernandez. The leading single off her album has already faced a wide rage of critical success following Ryan's slick and relentless production and Michelle's best vocal number to date.

Today, Michelle Green stops at nothing despite her single just being released, by releasing another track that will be appearing on her sophomore album, Exiled, slated for a release either this summer, or sometime in September. The song is called "Sold My Soul", and once again, Michelle proves to us that she is not 100% comfortable with crossing over into a full blown mainstream artist. Which is something most people who know Michelle Green get confused with. Is she mainstream? Is she underground? Or is she in the middle?

Sold My Soul is a menacing Indie Rock/Folk/Magic power ballad that once again displays how much the 16 year old's vocals have gotten better and how innovative the Indie star has become. The emotion displayed in Sold My Soul is chilling and might be the most intense and heart to heart song Michelle has sung to date. We are not used to the atmospheric space beats displayed in the chorus as Michelle sings about "selling her soul" to music but singing it as in a way that can be controversial to many ears as Michelle Green singing about selling her soul to the devil. Those rumors are totally false and after hearing the track, Michelle Green
sours high about giving herself completely to music, meanwhile staying true to who she is. She sings about how much she loves music and everything behind it, but if you want to deliver all you got onto your music, its basically like selling your soul.

Deep right? Michelle also pulls in us listeners completely by her addictive vocals yet again and this time her voice seems to be yearning to be heard like its never been heard before, making a listener want to listen over and over to the deep track and realizing although through all the success Michelle has faced, she still has alot on her chest she wants to get off, or accomplish.

Michelle Green surely sets us up for Exiled like no other, do you agree? Listen to Michelle Greens new song 'Sold My Soul'.
