"It is official! I have finished recording my first major EP! Being signed by Studio 60 has been a major benefit! They have been able to help me out with the recording processes and everything; i just can't thank them enough! So here is the announcement then:
The Griffin EP
To be released on Wednesday 13th of July!
I really hope that you all like it! I am sorry that my friend has been unable to get those videos up of me running through the setlists of my first two EPs. Oh yeah, and another announcement - I will be performing at the O2 Academy, Brixton on Saturday 16th! Tickets are on sale now - there are 5000 of them so i'm sure you'll get one! I am not expecting to sell them all anyway! They have to be ordered online unless you are willing to wait until two hours before the show starts to queue outside to but them on the door. I recomend getting them now on the interenet! It is just easier! I'll be seeing you around!!"

"So all of the tracks are up now guys! You can see all of them for the first time! The EP is officially out tomorrow, so make sure to go and get it! I am completely in awe of how many tickets we have sold for my show on saturday night - 4300 tickets sold so far! This is like heaven!!
I am also performing at the Fans Choice Awards on Sunday night, so you will be able to see me performing live then too!! My first televised performance... :S Anyway, i'm unsure of which track to perform - Bad Blood? Please Don't Go? or Taking My Time? I just cant decided!! If you want to hear one specifically please email me (OOC: just post on here :D) and i will see what happens :D
Well, Please Don't Go has officially dropped out of the charts, managing to peak in the top 40, which i am well happy with - it also sold a massive 192,000 copies!! Which is amazing!! I am so happy!! Anyway, buy tickets to see me on saturday!! The perfmance wont be streamed live, but will be streamed at some point over the next week - so be prepared to watch more of my awesomeness :D!"

"Hey there!! So i guess a couple a million people watched me perform live at the Fans Choice Awards on Sunday night. That is pretty Epic. If you look on the home page of the website, you can see a list of all of my noteable performances. You can see that performance if you click the link and it will stream it for you (OOC: If you click on that performance it is the second post on that page i think.).
I also performed on Saturday night at the O2 Academy in Brixton. That was a pretty amazing gig; I went through the whole EP in one set, which was good. First time i had performed one of the tracks to a live audience. I am loving how things are going at the moment, and I intend to do a brief tour soon which will lead up to the release of the first single from the album - but first i need to write a few more songs. I have a couple of tracks penned, but i'm not sure if I like them enough to actually continue with them and record them. Who knows!
So, you can expect to see the live performance of Saturday's performance up within the next week hopefully. My mate is so good at procrastinating - he keeps saying he will get those videos posted of the gigs that i did following the releases of the two older EPs. He'll get it done eventually...

"Okay, the O2 Academy performance is gradually getting there... We are three songs through it now... I am really excited for my first two festivals as well!! They are 3 days apart! On August 14th I will be in Spain for the Festival De Musicá - from 6:45 to 7:15 - and then on the Wednesday (17th) I will be at Total Ammihilation 4 in London!! I've never been to Spain before!
I hope to debut some new material at these festivals, so I has better get writing... Anyway... See you soon ;D"

"Been so busy today, been rehearsing for my two festival gigs and trying to write new material, but I've had no luck with writing today :/ hopefully a night out with my good friend Aaron Marks will help that :) thinking a very late 2011 release for the album by the way people - so get excited!!!!!"

"HELLO!! It has been almost 4 weeks since I last updated or something like that, so I appologise for not keeping in touch guys! But basically, as you will have seen if you have been to any of the festivals to watch me perform, I have been doing a couple of covers. These cover songs will be compiled into a live EP entitled "Live with Sammy". This EP will come out after the Indoor Aftermath Festival, when I will perform another two cover tracks.
So far, the tracklisting looks like:
1. The Cave [Mumford and Sons Cover]
2. Make You Feel My Love [Bob Dylan Cover]
3. ??
4. Down Down Down [Charlie Simpson Cover]
5. ??
6. Rolling in the Deep [Adele Cover]
Hopefully that should be a nice filler between the last EP and the album. News on the album: I am thinking a January/February release, with the album cycle hopefully starting by the end of September. I have been writing like mad recently, but i'm not happy with any of the songs that i have written. And I want this album to be amazing. There will be NO collaborations on this album, as i want to show to the world that i can do what i do solo before even considering putting someone else on a track with me. I don't mind working with someone else for their album, but for mine it is a No Collab effort.
So, I have something awesome for my fans coming up soon - other than my live covers EP - and that is a competition. What you have to do to enter is to record yourself singing one of my tracks, but i want you to be as original as you can with it. The winner will get a live performance from me in their living room which will be UStreamed live to the world!!! To enter you just have to send your video to me through my website. The winner will be announced in 2-3 weeks!! Get going then!!"
