Lisa: What's up guys! Welcome to another episode of Music Box Top Ten, a few weeks ago this pop star had a number one video, can you guess who it is? Her name is Isabel, and she will be dropping by to answer a few questions and give us a big surprise. While were inside the nice cool studio, Isabel fans are outside in the heat, guess a New York heatwave won't stop them. But enough of my chatting here are the first five videos.




Lisa: Today’s guest is one of our favorite pop stars, who recently had a number one video, I think we know who she is. Please welcome to the stage Isabel!




Lisa: Hey Isabel, it’s so nice for you to finally be here in New York. Your video “Blast My Music” went to number one a few weeks ago. Which makes you the youngest solo artist to have a number one, how does that feel to have success at your age?

Isabel: It makes me feel really good. A lot of people are still struggling to have success and they are like in their late twenties and thirties. I'm just blessed that I have such awesome fans and support from people.

Lisa: You come from quite a family, your older cousins we all know them as Hannah and Hayden. Because of a family like that, do you ever feel you have to set yourself apart to show people you have your own unique style?

Isabel: All the time! (Laughs) It's like me and Hayden have some big steps to follow sometimes but people usually forget that I've done this before and I'm not a stranger to the industry. Hannah's gained an enormous fan base and huge amount of success that me and Hayden wanna do the same. It's almost like a competition between us 3 sometimes.

Lisa: You’re young, you’re talented, and beautiful. Do you ever feel like you missed out on regular teenage stuff?

Isabel: Not at all. I mean I've missed my senior prom but I'm fine with that. A normal teenage life was fun at one point but I'm enjoying the crazy, hectic teenage life. I'm not sure If I've missed much.



Lisa: Often we hear about many teenage girls going through identity problems, because of magazines and other media sources telling girls how to look and act. What do you have to say about that? And do you have words of advice for them?

Isabel: My advice would be to just be yourself because in the end that's what makes you, you. A lot of people have told me that they thought I was too skinny and I needed to eat all the time and I understand how It feels to be constantly ridiculed by people but if you listen to what people tell you all the time then you'll stop thinking for yourself. In the end it's up to you to find your own identity.

Lisa: So your new video “Lose It (Summer’s Not Hot)” will premiere today on Music Box Top Ten. Can you give us a little idea about the video? Because the previews look really good.

Isabel: Thanks. (Smiles) Well It's a fun, summer video and despite the lyrics it's not a love song but there are some cute guys in there. I had a fun time shooting and I tried to do something different than just the typical beach video so I tried to mix it up a little and I just hope everyone enjoys it. And vote for it! (Laughs)

Lisa: As usual, we have two questions by fans. The first question is fan submitted. This question comes from Toronto, Canada and it reads, “Hey Isabel! I love your music, and I want to know. What is your biggest fear?”

Isabel: Well first of all Thank you and my biggest fear? Um I would have to say I'm claustrophobic so being in small, tight spaces really freaks me out. It's one of the reasons I don't go out to clubs a lot because it's like so many people in one little square room and It just scares the crap out of me.

Lisa: And a audience question.

Audience member: Hi Isabel, I want to know what is your favorite and least favorite song to perform?

Isabel: Hmm my favorite song would have to be Blast My Music because of the energy I get whenever I perform it. It's a great dance song and really fun to perform. My least favorite song? I don't think I have one. Well when my voice starts to go I had a difficult time performing Shine because of all the high notes and holding notes for a long time but then again that could go for Blast My Music too. Sorry, I'm going on again. (Laughs) Just let me shut up.

Lisa: Hey guys, this must be an amazing year for you. How are you coping?
Buzz: Well hello there Lisa...
Hype: Yeah it has really been epic! Bout first single when Multi-Platinum last week and we just can't believe it!
Buzz: Yeah... What he said.

Lisa: Recently you both won Best New Artist at the Fans Choice Awards, and are nominated for a similar award at the Chaos Awards and a few other nominations. Do you think you will win? Because I do (laughs)And what were your reactions when you found out?
Buzz: Of course we will win!! We have four nominations at Chaos, and after the two awards we won at the FCA we will definitely win more!
Hype: I would like to think we could again take the Best Newcomer prize, but the Technical Ecstasy, Contribution to the Industry and Best Single will be more difficult.
Buzz: Dude... Buzzing is a proven 'Best Single' it can definitely do it again!
Hype: okay. When we found out that we had won, we jumped around a lot, shouted excitedly and got incredibly drunk.
Buzz: I even took a girl...
Hype: NOT NOW BRET!
Buzz: -_-

Lisa: So right now you guys are on tour with Glamazon, and a few other openers. How does it feel to be on tour with her? And whats your favorite experiences about being on tour?
Buzz: We arent actually on tour with her yet, haha.
Hype: Yeah, we will be opening for her on the European leg of her tour. It us going to be EPIC!
Buzz: So excited!!
Hype: So yeah, our first gig with her is in Manchester, on the 22nd of August.

Lisa: You guys have been working with some big names in the industry. Where do you see yourselves going next?
Hype: We actually are working on an album, and we have something awesome like 11 artists signed up to feature on this album! I am just so excited!!
Buzz: Yeah! We've already finished two tracks, and one of them will be a single!
Hype: But we can't actually say who it features...
Buzz: I think we can say what the track is called though... Right?
Hype: Yeah, it is called Dem Man. So get excited!! The album cycle starts in the next few weeks!!

Lisa: The single "Buzzin" went multi-platinum, making it one of the best selling singles this year. With all this fast success do you fear that you may lose it?
Buzz: We couldn't lose it. We are too good!
Hype: I actually agree with Buzz here, i feel the momentum we have gained this year can see us out to the end of the album cycle, and then I feel a tour coming on in support of the album!
Buzz: Ooooh, yeah!! Sounds EPIC!!!!!

Lisa: Who would you guys like to work with next given the chance?
Buzz: erm.... I don't know! We have so many people lined up to work with!! Maybe Izzy Merjos? She's quite hot...
Hype: -_- I am really hoping to be able to work with Ryan Ross Hernandez one day. That would be an awesome track!
Buzz: oooooooh!

Lisa: Are there any upcoming releases to expect this year?
Buzz: Well yeah. Dem Man in the next few weeks, then another couple of singles and then the album late this year or early next!

Lisa: As usual we have questions from the fans. This question is from Bryan in Chicago, and he asks "If you guys weren't in the music industry, what would you be doing instead?"
Buzz: I dont know, ever since my career as a football (Soccer) player failed I've been working up to this. It has taken me 8 years of hard work and long hours at places like McDonalds, but I've made it.
Hype: I've always done music, and I can't imagine doing anything else. I might have become a must teacher or something.

Lisa: And from an audience member.
Buzz: Okay

Audience member: What's up guys! I'm a fan of your guys work, and I would like to know. Out of all the places you DJed at what place had the best audience?
Hype: Oh man... I have no idea, done so many solid gigs! Probably that time when Postscript and STEPHANIE FIERCE came to the Oceana Club in Birmingham and helped us perform Fu... Screwed.
Buzz: Agreed.

Buzz: Oh so do I...
