Chimera are set to play their farewell show on Saturday night, with main support from Dead Roses, which is infact the first time that Chimera and Dead Roses will play together in the UK. The award winning Welsh band, who lost their drummer Luke Jelt in June 2009 due to an unexplained death, that was then explained as 'natural causes' want to finish the band on a 'huge show', and we thought of no better way than headlining the biggest venue in their city, the Millenium Sadium, Cardiff. 'Without sounding big headed, Dead Roses and Chimera are two of the biggest Welsh bands that have come out of South Wales in the last 10 years, and it's weird we've never played a gig in the UK together before, we've played together all accross Europe and the US, but never in our home country, so to play in Cardiff, both of our hometowns, it's going to be mental! Aswell as that, we're headlining a f**king stadium! This show is going to be in memory of Luke, he would've loved this, and we're going out with a bang!Said Chimera vocalist Dan Serverge. Aswell as those two, The Verdict Is Vengence, Mykaylah, Misery Loves Company, Nick Palmer, Sammy Griffin, Michelle Green and another Welsh band Heartless will appear accross the weekend.
