The Beat are a 4 piece British boyband from London England. Formed in the winter of 2010, the group was originally a vocal harmony quartet, specialising in singing popular songs in their own style at weddings, birthday parties and other family functions. By the time March and April of 2011 came around, The Beat were already building such an outstanding reputation, that they were being hired as guests to perform harmonies at celebrity birthday parties, and, to date, have performed for people such as; The Beckhams, Rio Ferdinand, Jamiriquai and Hugh Grant.

However, at a party in May 2011, they were spotted by a talent scout whilst performing at a BBC staff summer outing in Hyde Park, London. The scout reckoned that the group were worth more than what they were doing at the time, and told them that they had the ability to forge a bona fide pop career for themselves, as opposed to being just a cover band an inventive, and interesting cover band yes, but still only a cover band.
Tipped for the top, The Beat have already started working on their debut EP, and are on the lookout for a label to help them on their way, through a journey which will, without doubt, be difficult, hard work, but most of all, fun!

They specialise in R&B tracks of a particularly pop nature, but can also extend themselves to dance music and good old fashioned straight up pop. Expect them to be wowing the girls for years to come, using their talents, and their good looks to charm their way into the hearts of millions.





Name: Leon Fraser
Age: 21
Vocal Ability: His voice is probably the weakest but he can reach the highest notes. He is no Mariah Carey but in high harmonies he is heard over the others.
Favourite Genre: Anything that is popular.



Name: Zain Healy
Age: 19
Vocal Ability: One of the two "frontmen" of the group, Zain, along with Kieran, has the strongest voice, and showcases it on most tracks with his velvety smooth tones, and liquid-like delivery. Also fancies himself as a bit of a ladies man, and is never not on the pull.
Favourite Genre: R&B/Dubstep



Name: Kieran Phillips
Age: 18
Vocal Ability: One of the strongest voices. He may not hit the high notes but his voice is powerful and loud.
Favourite Genre: Early 90's R&B



Name: Justin Gill
Age: 22
Vocal Ability: Despite being the oldest in the group, Justin takes the back seat most of the times. Whilst he does not have the voice for the front line and the adventurous verses, he provides backing vocals and harmonies like no ones business. A real solid performer.
Favourite Genre: Jazz and Blues.
