The Return of Sanitary Towel It may have been mega delayed, and it may have had a false start during their brief absence from Studio60 2 weeks or so ago, but Scott H and the legendary extreme punk-metallers are back with their first single in 13 years. Having taken a little more than an extended vacation, Sanitary Towel originally reformed this summer to play some shows on Mind's world tour. However, within weeks of beginning rehearsals together, the band decided to reform fully, and started writing again. This song, with a distinctly more metal feel than the Towel of old, no doubt influenced by a certain lead singers 11 years in Blood Of Wecz, was the first product of those writing sessions, and they decided to release it post-haste.
"It feels more organic like this." Said lead singer Scott H. "If we tried to polish stuff and sat on new material for months, thenwe'd end up sounding as if we had done just that. This has been a fun process, and writing this song was excellent, so we decided, hell, let's get it out there! OOC: This is the first time I have written metal lyrics for a couple of years, so if it's rusty, or crap, that's why lol.Lyrics Revealed Scott H: Good afternoon music fans and other types of music folks and stuff! I guess it's time to reveal our lyrics to you. No music as of yet, you'll have to wait for that ;) but here it is, my masterpiece, and the first song I wrote for over 2 years. I hope it looks as good as I hope it sounds later!
Just a note, all lines that end with an exclamation mark (!) are screamed. The rest are just sung cleanly.
