Growing up, she often found herself in musicals, talent shows and was often referred to as the soon to be "star" in her family. Sadly, as she graduated from high school, she lost touch with her singing and dancing. She found herself back in music when she came across an ad to appear in Malory Evans' All Around The World contest. Unfortunately, Martinez didn't make it through to any of the rounds but not only did Evans see huge potential in Martinez voice, she also loved her bubbly personality so in conclusion, she saw her more as a host and interviewer. Lea got the opportunity to be the tv host and interviewer of All Around The World, so Martinez is quite the familiar face. But what people didn't know was that as this was all going on, Lea was working on her voice and her craft as an artist all around. In late 2010, after All Around The World, Lea realized that she was tired of interviewing stars and hopefuls and instead should be focusing on her career. Many people saw her as a future star and at this point she feels the same way. Lea has grown totally and is ready to make her way to the big stage and with her beautiful and charming looks, a now great voice, personality, performance skills and craft, Lea is hungry and Lea is soaring head first into the game! ITS OVER! She has cited Cassie Valentine, Tisha Jackson, Chloe, Chanel, Cherise, Stephanie Fierce and Alicia Lena as some of her main favorites and influences. Genre(s) R&B Pop Neo-Soul 1. TBA! 1. So I actually got the chance to cover an amazing song called Love Gun by KISS. Its been covered so many times and I put my little R&B twist to it. I hope you guys like it, really hot, its loud and it could really give people an idea of my vocal abilities, but this is just alittle bit of what I can do ;).
