Michelle Green first off: I asked her out, she said yes, and then I read an interview where she said she preferred Hayden. That's the limit of what a man can take I'm afraid, so I amicably told Michelle, buh-bye, no hard feelings. Then Nadia Berry: I only wanted to get some of that to piss off Fernandez.....she said no....fine, no hard feelings! HOWEVER.....Ellie...Grace.....Summers: Now here there is a bad feeling! Why? Because I took a genuine shine to her and her music, and actually wanted to take her on a real date. Then when she said yes, and then never called....I got pissed...and then when I asked, and she said yes again, knowing that THAT story was going to come out. That hurt!

Like Gia said....no. This is just a single date. How can you be "dating" if you've only gone on one date? I don't get these rumour mills sometimes.

But you're hopeful of dating her after this? You two seem quite close?

Do we? I wish I saw the world through your glasses man (chuckles). Nah, she likes to keep me at arm's length....for now at least. Hopeful? He chuckles...ummmm no. Why? Well I don't know. It's great to be here with her, and I've made no secret of the fact that I like her, like a lot. I think she's a really great girl...but still not hopeful. I try not to get my hopes up. it's easier that way. Don't get me wrong....I'd Love to date Gia and if it happens...wow, I'm just not hopeful of it.

Awww thank you! I guess I've been taking better care of myself laughs. No seriously though, it's been a hard few months, but in the last few weeks I've made promises to myself, and I've been sticking to them. I promised myself relaxation, stress free days, and just no more drama. And it's working. I really do feel so much better. Hopefully that will also comes across in the new music too. I hope so anyway.smiles

Have you heard back from Ryan Ross Hernandez about your invite?

I did....almost immediately in fact. Ryan called and said that he'd love the chance to get out of the spotlight. I was pleased for him, because I think he really needs to get away. But he went and met up with Nadia last night again, and if I know Ryan, he'll have charmed his way into her good books already. So I doubt we'll see him at the ranch. Which is a shame, cos it would have been good for him. But hey, as long as he's happy then it's all cool.

It's rare that you catch three big stars walking out of their parents' battered old car to an awards show. The first out is not-so-big Kato, who dashes off to meet long-term girlfriend Isabel. Then I see the industry heavyweights, winners of the runner-up Icon Award at the last Chaos Awards, Moronic Changeling's Dante Helyer and Damien Comyns. I stop for a chat.



Me : So, do you think you'll win the Best Band award?
Dan : YES! :D
Damien : No.
Me : Why so negative, Damien?
Damien : So that I won't be disappointed if, or, more likely, when we don't win it. It's a tough category. The Moronics may have been the big guns back in the day, but there are so many more popular bands now. So, it'd be awesome to win it or even come second, but I'm not expecting to.
Dan : Don't listen to him, he's just a bit down. Moronic Changeling, y'know, been around forever, and with us two Welsh boyos here, it's a Welsh night, we'll be lucky!

As the DBM buses arrive, Dan looks around for the ladies in the band, while Damien looks for his date, Firecracker 47's Joshy Firecracker. I stop to interview them, but Damien gives me a bright blue stare and a "talk to the hand" motion. While he gives the young vocalist a tender kiss, I look around for someone else to interview - and who do I find showing off some leg for the cameras, enjoying the fact that she's not bumpy yet? The one, the only, Kamikaze Kate!



Me : Well, if it isn't one of everyone's favourite two mouthy pregnant lesbians!
Kate : Kamikaze - I'm not a fucking lesbian. Lesbians like girls. I like one girl. Get it, mofo?
Me : Not - really .... anyway, is it true that you're engaged?
Kate : Yes. I found the bitchin' love of my life, I want Cassie and no other cunt.
