Scott stands up with Gia's help and winces with the pain in his cheek.

Scott: I tell you this all the time, but you're pretty awesome. That saved my life. Am I covered in blood? Damn...I don't wanna ruin my shirt.

He tries to smile at her and turns to Layla.

Scott: I don't know.....is he....kick him and see?

Scott tried not to laugh as he could feel the pain even in a smile.

Scott: I do? Ok ok....but can we go upstairs or something then?

(to Layla) Is he moving?

Gia: Fine.

Lady Raine: Uh, nope. He's out cold.

Gia: I'll help you get up there.

She started walking with him inside.

Jason: Well... I think I need to go to bed. I'll book another coach tomorrow. Good night.

Scott collapsed on the bed, and then put a hand to his face. He was surprised to find his nose was intact and not painful. He tried to stall the need to talk.

Scott: Could you pass me a cloth please babe?

He starts to dab his face with the cloth softly.

Scott: ok...ok....right, he was in Blood Of Wecz for 5 years. his name is Alex P. He was the guitarist, good guitarist too. And then one time we were on tour, and this support band's lead singer ran away, so Alex went crazy and started mouthing off all over the TV and stuff. So I fired him. I was scared so I just waited till he left the bus one night and told the driver to drive away. He's hated me since then....says it was his band and I just fired him because he was more of a star than me....(he laughs) what total bullshit huh? What did he want? This I assume (points at his bloody face). That ok?
And what do you mean about at the bar?

Scott propped himself up on his elbows to look at Gia, confused.

Scott H: He tried to knock my head off and you seem mad at me for it...how so? I don't say coward...I say clever. Did you not see the size of him?
Renée...(he sighs)...Renée is Raven's mother. I don't know why she's like that. She knows Raven and I have split, and she even accepted it, but she always acts like she's my best friend or some shit....she's as mad as the rest of that family. I'm so glad to be away from them, and with someone so much more normal....and great.

Scott likes back down on the bed on his back.

Scott: I deserved this? Really? I know I should have told him, butI still don't think that merits a pummeling like this Gia.....shall I tell you what he did to me, whilst he was in the band by the way....he; hired a "stalker" to come to my house and throw a brick through my window every night, released a book in which he said I was trying to sleep with his wife...I wasn't, and he wasn't even married, he pushed me off a stage when I was standing on a monitor, he tried to hit me with a guitar....it was al too much. I know, I didn't mean for you to get anywhere near me getting beaten up. I'd have taken a beating 10 times this bad if I could have just ensured you were safe!
You guys shouldn't go...I'm sure Jason will explain it all to Layla, and we're getting a new bus tomorrow, so we'll be outta here.

He stands up ,with a struggle and walks to her, putting his arms around her from behind.

Scott: Please babe. My past is not even a memory...it's nothing. I just want to see a future...with you.
