Despite Jason speaking loud and clear, Eric cannot properly decipher his words. At the moment, he cannot really comprehend anything; his face lies in the mud, while his body is sprawled out in what looks like an uncomfortable position. Now, ordinarily, he would complain about his friend leaving him in such a feeble state; unfortunately, due to the savage beating he just received, Eric doesn't really know what the word 'feeble' means.
