Scott H woke up to a searing headache and an awful dry mouth. He rolled over and saw Gia beside him.
Scott H: Gia....? Oh yeah. She was here.
He got out of bed to get a drink of water and some painkillers, before returning to the bed. He cuddled in behind Gia and kissed the back of her neck, and lay there, playing with her hair for a while as she slept. |

Gia felt someone kiss her neck and play with her hair. She smiled knowing who it was. She then opened her eyes a little and realized what happened last night. She quickly closed her eyes again, pretending to be sleep. |

Scott walked into the living room and sat on the sofa. He put his head in his hands and cursed himself.
Scott: Why would you ask her that?....was never going to happen.
Scott stood up and walked to the kitchen. He poured Gia a glass of water and walked into the room. He placed it on the bedside table and half smiled at her.
Scott: one water...
He walked around the bed and climbed back in, staring at the ceiling. |
