LONDON, UK - Reports out of London today are saying that the heavy metal group Mask, notorious for their face paint and outlandish costumes, have been banned from performing around some London clubs after a few members of local churches have criticized the group for their appearance and for the some lyrial content of some of their songs, such songs such as 'Blood Of The Innocent' and 'The Sacrifice' have been specifically called out. Here's what a local pastor had to say...
"This music is an outrage, these men go out and perform in their outrageous fashion and what it truly is doing is corrupting the innocent minds of the youth that follow the group around, they're promoting satanic behavior with such violent lyrics."
Lead singer Paul Wolf, who goes under the name 'The Ghost' when he performs had this to say...
"I think it's kind of funny how we're being perceived as devil-worshippers and such, I truly do. I can see where this outrage is coming from but to try and ban us from our hometown is even more outrageous than what they're claiming we do. Besides, we're not devil-worshippers my mother raised me in the Catholic faith since I was a child and I still practice it to this day. So put that on the record, the members of Mask ARE NOT devil-worshippers. Except Davey (The Monster - Bass) he's a cannibal."
It's unclear if the group will actually be banned from performing at certain venues in the city anymore but one thing's for sure, the group's popularity is on the rise due to their outrageous appearance and magnificent performances.

Kate : Ha, fucking good one! It's publicity, and any publicity is good publicity! One of the finest moments of my musical career kamikaze was when I got my third single out, "Jesus Crucified Me", and some angry Christian buggers bought 500 copies of the CD and burnt it outside my house. I was watching, laughing my arse off - they may have burnt it, but they fucking bought it! Catriona : You just wanted to mention that, didn't you? Kate : Every damn arse opportunity I get, pisshead bitch. Kamikaze-eee. Anyway, where the fuck was I? Oh yeah. Nice one. Edited by user 31 August 2011 08:39:37(UTC)

Erich:i thought europe was above hard ons for jesus.
Karoliena: we once had effigies of us burned because of our song "jesus drives a prius".
Erich: personally,i liked it.nowadays people rarely put any effort towards a good effigy burning.
