Troy: I was literally free, and it was such a good feeling to unwind and enjoy the world after a busy schedule back with Reckoner. Almost everything is set up already, all I need is a manager since I can't handle everything myself, and a producer for the album.

Eric: A little bit, yeah; I don't think I'm very good at it. Still, my skills are at your command.
He does a joking little salute and then orders another beer. Although he can barely stomach it, he still wants to look tough and impressive for Troy, someone he's always regarded as an older brother. After a moment, he gets an idea;
Eric: D'you think you'll have any guest musicians on the album? Like, a vocalist, guitarist, or keyboardist? Because it just so happens that I'm all three. |

Troy: That was funny, cause I was thinking of adding some people to do guestings on some of my tracks and since you gave me the idea, I want to offer you a spot or two, whichever you choose, on the album. |

Troy looks in disbelief at who he sees at the bar. Jason Smith, Troy's inspiration since he started rocking out, was at the Dirty Bastard. Troy couldn't believe that Eric and Jason, the two people he was closest with, were in the same place as he was. A tear runs down his face as he walks up to his old friend temporarily leaving the group he was with. |

Upon hearing this, Eric spits out his beer in surprise over the back of Raven's head. Hoping she won't notice the extra moisture, he says;
Eric: Y-you're getting married...? Fucking... oh my god.
He leaps up from the chair and gives him a hug of congratulations.

Troy gets shocked at what Jason had said. No he wasn't mad that he wasn't the best man, he was shocked at the fact that Jason was getting married. It had been a long time since they last met up and that last time, Jason was this playboy type guy living the rock n roll lifestyle which had a lot of sex in it. He couldn't believe that Jason was finally getting married but still he was happy for his friend.
