Manager accounts

Almost ready... just some final testing to carry out. They should be landing before the weekend.

When I activate them you'll be prompted to create a "manager account" when you've logged in with your band. You'll then be able to claim any bands by entering the bands login/password and have them controllable from your manager account login.

New users to the game will be creating a manager account straight away so there's also an easier method for them to create more than one band if they choose to.

Points Limit

As discussed earlier a points limit will be coming in to force on the 20th August.

Rest Options

A couple more options for resting your rockstar are on the way... they'll be more effective but cost more CASH per point used. There will also be a 4 point minimum spend.

Other Stuff

Rest assured the above is just the beginning. Manager accounts are vital with the direction the game is taking with the major new features.

The plan is to add a few different dimensions for users... so you can expect options to run record labels and venues in the future. Work has already begun on record labels and I'm hoping to get it up and running in early September with testing coming sooner.

If I were you I'd get them used before the 11:30 update tonight.

On another note - loving the manager account feature - so much time saved with multiple log ins - looking forward to seeing how record labels is going to work.

And on one more note - any chance that somewhere down the line the charts can be a little less random? maybe based on activity/touring etc or maybe even add a publicity option you can utilise (points deductible of course) that can generate random publicity that positively/negatively influences records sales ( a little like the VERY retro Rockstar Ate My Hamster game for those old enough to remember it!)??
