The song is increased by harmonic backing vocals making it sound greater and louder in the chorus and pre-choruses of it. Abie sings with a sarcastic tone in her amazing vocals, which by the way makes the song sounds stunning in the high note parts, especially in the first lines of the chorus, where Abie holds a 5s note strong and high. The song is a up-tempo song, despite the lyrical content, Abie sings the song with a ironic feeling. Ricky Rubin comments: This is a up-tempo Blues song, marked by its piano and drum melodies, when Abie first showed me this song, she sung it with an acoustic guitar, and I was so shocked by the furious way she sung this, that I said to her that we had to add drums to make it strong, just like the way she was singing. Pimp’s Tears Written by: Abie Lena and Yulia Volkova Produced by: Yulia Volkova, Abie Lena Length: 4:00 Genre: RnB, Jazz Song Description: The song has a piano and jazz drum sequence increased by an old Guitar, making it sound like a funeral march, this melody keeps playing till the first chorus starts where the song receives a really sad and tragic violin orchestra, also there are some backing vocals added after Abie sings the phrases of the chorus making it repeat. Before a short stop on the melodies the song comes back to its original funeral march to continue the second strophe and the same goes like the first till the chorus again. The song has a break down melody where a classical church piano enters followed only by that old jazz drum sequence, this is the most sad and tragic part of the song. Despite all the darkness surround this song’s melody, it is a fast song, and the lyrics are really funny to hear, it is about a hooker giving up of her lovers, cause she is sick of that life, to make the song funnier Abie sings in a ironic tone, her voice is not so clear like the first song, here we can perceive some old effects on her voice, just like in old radios. That was when Yulia listened to this melody in my notebook, she asked me why was I pull it out, when that sounded so amazing, so I said to her the reason I was doing that, and she said: “Ok so why don’t you write a funny lyric to it?” So we wrote this song together. Probably it’s the most fun song in the album.. LOL… I know the melodies are down and dark, but how can’t you laugh on a hooker’s lamentations? Which is the hit “Ain’t no Mountain High Enough”, we had the drums, then I added some new piano riffs me and my girls from ElectroDeath recorded the backing vocals for the song, and it ready! The lyrics are a little bit jealously, I think, is about a woman saying to a man that while he is in love fun with his family, she is faking a happiness so he won’t look at her like she was a poor girls waiting for his love. And the fact that you used other genres, just brings more interest to this album. They also compliment your voice. "Pimps Tears" is def my favorite thus far. Abie has an incredible melodic voice, she doesn’t need so much musical instruments to sing a son, in this song for example she uses her own voice as an instrument, adding some backing vocals in some strategic moments and still changing tones and keys of her voice to give the listener the best feeling of the dramatic theme of this song. The acoustic guitar was played by Ricky and it follows Abie melodic vocals although the song. The lyrics are about someone realizing that there is nothing left to try in a relationship that is broken. Are the most sad songs in the album, I wrote when I realized that the life I was having was ending, and this song was one of that moments where I felt that there was nothing left I could try to force that life to go on. Just like Broke Up I decided to write a very simple and tragic melody, and once Broke Up was a piano ballad, I decided to make this an acoustic one, more soul, let’s say this way. It is still so personal to me, every time I sing it, it’s like a I’m living that moment again, but I’m stronger now, and I also believe that song is a rehab for us to recover ourselves from struggles and bad moments in life, so… I decided to release it as the second single. John Hill comments: Abie has a piano relationship with her recordings, she know how to play, so most of her songs are based on piano melodies, so I decided to keep the piano melody of this song, but I didn’t want to put another piano song on the album, so I called this big orchestra to add violins to the original song, this is my favorite song of the album by the way.
