As someone who never watches it, I actually tuned in tonight. Definitely didn't predict the winner, though he'd have been my choice anyways. The other guy was too focused on using the same high note on every performance. |

That show is horrible and it is destroying "proper" scripted television shows. Also, Kiss? Those guys have zero integrity by now. |

I'm not American but I watched American Idol just because I LOVE Adam Lambert... Omg, he is amazing! Kiss were okay, but grossed me out a bit... no offence to fans but they seem like old men trying way too hard to still be 'cool' and relevent. I mean, look at Motley Crue. They are getting on a bit but they don't go around with all the make up on, spandex outfits showing off their old man man-boobs and doing the gross tongue flick thing...
... that said, I did like the performance. But that was because of Adam. He made it.
Oh, AND, I was fuming at the result. I watched the live streaming here at 4am in the morning, hoping to see Adam win when I had my uni exams the next day... oh I was maaaaaadddddd!! |

personally I had no problem with Idol's pathetic attempt to bring in ratings.... really. They already have the majority of shallow teenage white girls voting that they need to survive, why would they introduce to them a band they've never heard of?
