Hello, everyone.
I go by the name of Kafka. I've played the Rockstar Game many a time over the years, but now I've started again, and I'm interested in the roleplaying aspect of the game. I'm a young man, I enjoy music, books, HBO, and I'll admit that I'm a bit impartial to the odd drunken or stoned adventure. Which makes me sad, because sometimes I feel like me and my friends' lives revolve around cigarettes, bud and alcohol. I play bass guitar, and sometimes I try my hand at writing music, with little success.
Anyway, my band's called
Hippocampus, they're based in Birmingham, they play fairly normal alternative rock with some experimental elements. When I imagine them, I imagine stuff like the Libertines, Arctic Monkeys, Modest Mouse. Their music and lyrics are heavily driven by the lead singer, whose wide and varied travels populate the lyrics and concepts of their music.
I'm really looking forward to getting started here, so, yeah, anyone want to point me in the right direction, give me some tips or constructive criticism, give me a good bollocking, I'm raring to accept it.

PS. Does anyone here do band logos and album artwork and all of that? Because I'm not very good with the Photoshop or the Paint or whatever you kids use these days, and I'd really like some good visuals to go along with my band.
