He says the last bit with a tone of sadness, before continuing his drink.

Kate : Yup. I've brought you to the right bar.
Kitena : Are you .... sure!?
Kitena walks in and is shellshocked at how different it seems to the bar she used to spend night and day in years ago.
Kate : Fucking YES!
Kitena : It looks kinda - dirty ....
Kate : It's The Dirty Bastard, of course it's fucking dirty!
Kitena shakes her head.
Kitena : It's changed.
Kate : Has it changed, or have you?
Kate sighs and goes to get some drinks.
Barsteward : Hey Kate! You're about an hour late, your Josh was here!
Kate : We're always missing each other, it sucks. Lager and a glass of water please.
Barsteward : Who's your pretty friend?
Kate : That bitch is former Dirty Bastard addict Kitena Dale.
Barsteward : WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO HER FAT!?
Kate gives Kitena her water and goes to sit in a corner, downing her lager and soon asking for a second one. Kitena sips her water, excitedly awaiting her date. |

For the first time, in a long time Harvey Mason felt completely calm. He was beside his life-long friend, Scott Simpson as they both made idle talk.
Simpson: So, your life sounds horrible.
Harvey: It kinda is. Playing in an experimental rock band doesn't always get you fans and groupies.
Simpson: How many groupies do you have?
Harvey: Uh, lets not talk about it.
Simpson: Don't worry, I put my main thing on hiatus too because it wouldn't work out. Now I'm back to my D.J. act with a few guys I met in college.
