Firecracker 47 - 10/2/2009-12/10/2011

It started long ago, with the Roxy and Mikki arguments, and having Modi Blunt replace Mikki. Then, James and Katie split up, and they were left without the manager they'd had from the beginning. Then, Mikki started doing more and more work outside the band, "Bikki'n'Mikki" becoming popular, not to mention Joshy's recent exploits on reality TV, being the second man standing on "Big Brother". Now, after almost two years .... it's finally over.

"We were just kidding ourselves that it was going to work," says Roxy Firecracker, guitarist for the band. "Mikki and I don't like each other, James and Katie don't like each other, and Joshy was trying to fix it or run away from it."
"I was the sensible bassist, nobody noticed me," says James Kairiri. "Good luck to everyone else - I don't believe I've got the chutzpah to carry on in music. I want to concentrate on my life. I don't expect the cameras to follow."
Apparently, the only one with any immediate plans is drummer Mikki Moo. "Everyone said I was talentless, but hey, I'm the only one moving on! I'll miss Firecracker 47 though, especially James, who's been there since Nightside Bikithan days."
"Roxy might come back. Someday." Lead singer Joshy Firecracker sheds a tear. "So might I. Who knows? But we leave you with this, dedicated to each other. A cover song of - WHOA these Franceschis look like us! I love you all!"

Misery Loves Company begin work on sophomore record!

Speaking after last nights show in Denver, Misery Loves Company frontman Ryan Williams told us that record number 2 is in the works. Williams who is known for his workaholic nature, in that he is always writing new songs told us exclusively last night that the band were currently writing new material. Here's what he had to say:

Yeah record number 2 is currently being written! Obviously its very early stages thus far, but i have been writing a lot of music and its sounding really good so far. Its been so soon after our last record but we love been at work, we love our jobs, we don't want to sit around doing nothing!


The bands debut pop-punk effort is currently number 1 in the Album Heat charts for the second week running, beating off stiff competition from the likes of Michelle Green and ElectroDeath. When asked what the new album will sound like he had this to say:

Well, its a little too early to determine all that just yet! Although lyrically, its sounding much darker and well to me, honest. Im finally being honest with myself writing, but year its sounding much darker.. and heavier!

THE CHURCH AGAINST TEEN TITANS AGAIN?

The pop fivesome band "Teen Titans" has been recently criticized (again) by some catholic religious groups for giving their young fans a wrong image.
The five had already been criticized a few months ago, after the premiere of the video of Joey's solo song, which had a strong context about the Devil "taking" the soul of a girl.

A member of the religious groups told "They're giving a bad role model to all the kids and the teenagers who follow them in every way" And he continues, talking about their latest videos: "In their last videos, they show up like some sort of humans with super-powers, which is totally against God. They actually try to be like God with their superpowers".
And he of course also talks about Joey, also known in fact as Devil Titan: "The fact that one of them should remind of the devil and should be taken as a role model is wrong. And his lifestyle in the Big Brother house is not helping too, as he gives the young fans lots of sexual hints". He also talks about the other members like Tanya, labelling her as "Too sexual" for the fans and adds "Then there is another one who should represent a witch and that is wrong too, magic is another satanic point of the band".

Kate : That story made me laugh a bit. How fucking weak are these people? Are these the same cathies whose sons cry all night because they can't read Harry Potter, and whose daughters don't know that they're supposed to bleed until it starts and it's like, "oh my God, I have a vag - sorry God, shouldn't have told you that"?
