you: label looking to lose a fortune.
us: a psychobilly and punk rock band.
what we want: no contracted number of singles/albums/ eps/videos/dvd's/ merch. We just dont work that way. An office or room of some sort in your headquarters....dont ask.its non negotiable.( Doesnt have to be a nice one.) Complete freedom to release ANYTHING. This includes formats that nobody can use, and things recorded at frequencies only dogs can hear,octuple albums and jimmy buffet covers. Anything means anything. Also the harlots and atomic war bride are a package deal. You gotta take both.
what we offer: ZERO risk of you not recouping your advance to us. ....Because there isnt one! We cover everything. recording, record pressing,touring...etc,etc. We really just need the distribution of a known label. We offer you a 60/40 split on all profits from the signing date. Bees knees was a profitable venture, so money isnt important to us. The harlots or war bride will never be able to headline a festival or sell out a stadium but will be profitable to you as a long term investment....hopefully. in any case, we'll stick with you until you fire us.
The harlots-all female punk rock group. Sounds most like xray spex covering dead kennedys tunes.
Atomic war bride- psychobilly band.sounds like 50's elvis fronting the frantic flintstones.
Does not include karoliena's solo project.

Erich: frankly,im surprised any one would take us,especially with such conditions attached. I really never expected a major label to be interested. Truth be told,it's nice to be under someone else's umbrella...ella...ella. everyone wants acceptance from some where. Being on our own was like being the kid at school that even the kids that are way into dungeons and dragons wont sit with. Big ups to studio60 for letting us sit at the cool kids table. Ooc: the room at the label headquarters is a hess tradition.erich has lived inside most label's he's been a part of. |
