As Carter's new single "Cool Like That" finishes, the interview begins!


Angie Martinez: Now broadcasting live, you are listening to Hot 97 FM radio. Um so, I'm pretty sure everyone has heard Carter's new hit "Cool Like That", and right here, we have Carter on the line. (Claps are heard).


Carter: Thank you for all the love I'm getting! And I just wanted to say that this is the first time I'm being interviewed, and I'm excited!


Angie Martinez: I'm glad your on the line. So as you know, we're here to answer some questions!


Carter: Without a doubt. I'm listening.


Angie Martinez: So, I would like to congratulate you with your new single reaching the top ten on the Digital Songs chart. (Staff in studio claps)


Carter: Thank you guys, I worked hard on the song!


Angie Martinez: I'm sure you did... So, many of the fans wanted to know if the rumors of you working on an album or mix-tape is true. Is it?


Carter: Yes it's true. I am working on an album. The original plan was to work on a new mix-tape but, I want to delay that project and finish the album.


Angie Martinez: Good luck!


Carter: Thanks.


Angie Martinez: So your in L.A. right now huh?


Carter: Yes, I just finished shooting a video for my new single, and I'm just trying to relax for a couple of days, and I'll return to the studio to continue recording tracks for my project.


Angie Martinez: You must be pretty excited.


Carter: Yes, I am. things finally seems to be going smoothly for me!


Angie Martinez: Mhmm (she laughs). I would like to continue the interview, but it's time to end this party.


Carter: Alrighty, catch you later Angie.
