I have influenced by a lot of soul and blues genres, old school mixtures that noone pays attention anymore, but sometimes it's about all pop. I want to bring back that old school mixture of flavor and that old spice back to music. How it felt when a record came on- provide something new for the audience, something not fresh, but something refreshing for the ears. It takes time to really sit down and understand where you will go for a new sound? I think me adding hip-hop, even disco, boogie down music, back in blues club, new jack swing elements are all going to be heavily influenced on my Era album and those amazing singles I have coming out. I wanted to give and learn from the music that made me the vocalist I am today and not take advantage of it, just because that sub-genre of music that makes a lot of genres so known today not listenable anymore. I wanted to make a way for genres like disco, blues, soul of hip-hop to come back and make it refreshed again, like almost as if it was born again.. that where the era begins.. DANCE TO LOVE- ;; To show some rhythem and groove to show and give your heart to the partner or special someone in your live. Feel the love and desire you have with that person by dancing in rhythem and groove movements. INTRO The first track from Chanel's new album, Era gives you strict and hardcore talented vocals from the girl you fell in love with by her strong vocals in emotion. The quality of this track is strong with much talented and long pitched background singers that allows the track to expand, give the track a new life to the background singers. The singers sing their hearts out, while Chanel pours her soul into the deep chrous. At the beginning of the track, you hear patterns of " Na Na Na Na Na Na Na" Then the strong background singers, with " Make it Funky" to a fast patterns of " Na Na Na Na Na Na" to a loud bass slaps joining in the words. This track is a track full of Chanel's love of funk music with so many elements combined in this track to give that Rhythmic contemporary outhought the song with a strong hook and vocal style that is warm, but yet strong. The heavy insistent beat that can make you dance, feel and groove to this song. The arrangements is powerful with sections of instrumentals playing outhought the song as well. Chanel gives you danceable elements in this song, but keeps it fresh with blues with that rhythem of save and in controlable patterns in the song. With ease riffs in the instrumental playing and mind blowing high notes and musicial mixes with touches of funk added to the beginning and end of every note hit including the background singers welcomes you to the old decade of music into the new. SOUND The boogie down heavy bass melodic tempo welcomes you at the beginning of the track. This influenced beat is floor beat with a boogie down blues with a mid tempo rhythem with slap bass and loud and enegertic melodic chrods from the background singers. With sweet and full of dance selections of strings selections with a strong musicial mix from Chanel. Horn sections of saxophones mixes perfectly with the pattern sound of the slap bass and boogie down tempo with the fast movements of drums slapping and a sythns notes of pianos. Before the verse two starts, in the middle is a soft sax that beats up at the right time before the energic chords of heavy bass and organs start to begin, adding another strong element to the track pulling all together to make one big lead single.
