So yeah... it's Jason here and I can finally confirm that the new Mind album is in the process of being finalized. All we have to do is clear the production up a little and get the mixing done. All of the songs themselves, however, have been completely done. We've been working on it for a while now and I think that you guys are gonna be pretty impressed by it actually. It will be self titled, due to the fact that it does represent us as a band, it does actually combine all of the elements of previous Mind albums and combines them to make this one. It will be continuing the Paladin concept started from The Juggernaut, and it will act as the final chapter.

Yes, my friends, this will be the final Mind album. We're not breaking up, nor are we going on hiatus, but this will be the last album full of original material that we're ever gonna make, due to the simple fact that we will never be able to top this. This album is so immense, so huge, that it is physically impossible for us to do any better. Mind will still make music, and still perform live, but as far as albums go, I think this is it.

The album will also come with the continuation of our Rebirth Tour, which sorta failed when I decided to go on Big Brother and ruin my life. However, do not fret, because we're gonna finally finish this shit... so yeah, we may also need some new support acts, since I'm not sure all of them would want to rejoin us due to me abandoning it and they may have other commitments. But get in touch :)

Anyways, I better tell you some details about this album. It was recorded at my house in London and produced entirely by me. It features myself on guitar and vocals, Aaron Del Petro on guitar, Harry Thornton on the bass and Stevie Moxey on drums. Stylistically, it is more of a symphonic effort, and features many different styles, ranging from blackened death metal to electro-pop. It's pretty hard to explain. You'll see though what I mean eventually. This is truly our magnum opus. Well, I guess I better show you the song titles and the song lengths, so here we go!

Alright, so... there's something I like about the title to this release, and there's something I hate about it. A new Mind album? Fucking yes, I love that. A 2012 release? Not so much. Jason, have you ever heard of this little band called Radiohead? They announced a new album, King of Limbs, and then released it five days later. Now, granted, the album ended up sucking*, but that's besides the point. But, since you're referring to it as your 'magnum opus', I guess I'm willing to wait for it. Even though I'm an impatient bugger. Shattered Fairytale is still my favorite album by Mind, but I would looooovveee for this album to surpass it. Aside from the Beatles, not a single artist has released their best work as their final one. But, due to how insanely talented Mind is, I have no doubt you guys will.

Kid Anything- Indie/Britpop/Shoegaze; influenced by Sigur Ros, XXYYXX, Kanye West, Blur, Oasis

(Bringing together an eclectic group of influences, Ulysses' songs are sung with carefree abandon by Nick Junk)

Kurt Ulysses - Songwriter, Guitarist, Backup Vocalist
Nick Junk - Vocals, Mojo

Infinite- Alternative/Experimental Rock; influenced by Muse, Radiohead, and The Beatles

(Known best for their experimental music and their frontman's eccentric behavior, the band disbanded after Eric Quillington's death to pursue solo careers or, in Matt Robert's case, peace of mind. Infinite released four albums over the course of their career; Blue Nebula, Midnight Skies, Insomnia, and Dancing about Architecture.)

Eric Quillington (Deceased) - Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar, Piano, Primary Lyricist
Matt Roberts - Bass
Greg Oldson - Drums, Backup Vocals, Secondary Lyricist
Amelia Florentine - Keyboards, Piano, Lyricist, Backup Vocals

"When asked 'how do you write?' I invariably answer, 'one word at a time', and this answer is invariably dismissed. But that's all it is. It sounds too simple to be true, but consider the Great Wall of China, if you will: one stone at a time, man. That's all. One stone at a time. But I've read you can see that motherfucker from space without a telescope."

Jason: Thanks Josh, haha! We'll put a single out soon though, so don't worry :P And yeah Eric, I think that, personally, this surpasses anything we've ever done, even SF. It's like SF x 1000. Thanks!

Cassie: I'm a big fan of you guys so this is such a bittersweet moment for me. I'm infatuated about the new album but also really down about this being the last album. That part is a joke right? You can't really be serious.

Bikki : Wow, just when the mere mortals think it's all over, Mind come back fresh and new. Kinda like you guys.
Mikki : Yes. I'm looking forward to it!
Bikki : No you're not, you're just sympathising because you're dating Jaseypie. I love the idea of mixed styles, more of a madcore sort of thing. Kinda like you guys.
Mikki : Yes. If you think about it that way, I'm actually looking forward to it!
Bikki : It's true. Every DBMer jizzes over well-done mix-genre. It's kind of a requirement of being in DBM. So that's quite a few copies pre-ordered ASAP, because we kinda like you guys!
Mikki : That was cheese, B-star.

Jason: Wow... thanks everyone! :D Yup, there will be lots of different genres thrown into the pot here... we do it with all of our albums, but I think it may be slightly more noticeable here. And yeah Erica... we all grew beards especially for that shot. Apart from the dude on the left, who isn't actually part of the band. We don't know what he was doing there. And thanks Cassie, I'm glad you're looking forward to the album, but I think that this is as far as we can go... we'll still be doing lots and lots of stuff, but as far as albums worth of original material go, I think this is just about it.

New Mind Album released along with Shadows and Silhouettes= me losing all my fans
New Mind Album released next year while I relax at home= Number one no doubt!
I look forward to your new album, not just one track but the whole album since I do love listening to albums as a whole. I do agree with Eric that Shattered Fairytale is your best album to date, it would be difficult to surpass its greatness. But this is Mind after all, you have the uncanny ability to make a hit album and make an even bigger hit with the next one.

-Troy Mascenon(Number one fan since 2009)

(OOC regarding Alex's OOC comment: YOu have offended the greatest band ever! Haha, just kidding, the album did kinda go too far and did kinda suck, still love Radiohead though..xD)

Jason: Haha, thanks Troy! I hope that this one does impress you as much as Shattered Fairytale... although I think, if we do have a best album, this one will be it.

Troy: If you say that this is your best album, I'd have to agree with you. You have never failed to impress us all before, and I'm sure you never will Jason, you never will.
