The SongIt's the perfect comeback song for the girl band, because with its catchy and upbeat sound and its lyrics meaning, it could become the next hit of the girls and could take to the success again, where they were before taking a break. The fans of the group will also notice the "Poppier" direction taken this time by the girls.
The song starts with Mariah singing along to the catchy beat with her sweet and pleasing vocals. She sings until the first bridge, where all the other girls join her and sing loudly together.
As Jessica ends the bridge alone screaming, the beat stops for two seconds and then plays again, giving the girls a good background of sound that fits well with the fun tune made in the chorus.
When the chorus ends, Whitney sings loud the new lines and Kimberley closes the verse with a low and a provocative voice.
After another bridge and its choruse, the danciest part of the song comes as the instrumental part plays until all the girls scream together one line, getting the song into other two choruses with some loud ad-libs sung by Jessica, who in fact ends the song singing just an ad-lib.

"I love this song! It was the first song we recorded together again after a long time and when we listened to it, we were all excited and sure it had to be the new single! The lyrics of the song are about people who just want to have you for one night and then they disappear, like sex without love, which is something that lots of people, especially girls, suffer for."

""Vampire" had to be the new single. The whole sound matches amazingly with the vocals and the lyrics, so it's perfect for us. It was produced by Laurence who also produced almost all of our songs on our first album, so our sound hasn't changed much but the help of Claire Becker made it grow up a bit and we're proud of this. I first wrote the whole song a few months ago and then Mariah and Kimberley added some lines and changed others, so I'm quite attached to the song."

"Oh my god, I'm so in love with this song! It's the first song that I'm going to release as a single being a singer and so it gets me so excited, you know! Also I think it's so catchy that everyone will love it! It may not be the classic clubby song or that song that makes you drop lots of tears, but, you know, it's a fresh song with that pop sound that you just may want to love!"
