Ryan had spent much of the day laying around being generally lazy. He always felt as though he owed that to himself whenever he came off a tour, this time in particularly he didn't have much time to be lazy as a heavy promotional schedule ahead of the album release was just a matter of days away. Today he was excited. He was anxious to see his girlfriend after the extended period of time they've spent apart in the last two months. It was as if their relationship, for him at least, was entering a new phase. He couldn't help but think back to just around this time a year ago when they broke up because of the simple matter that they couldn't find ways to spend more time together due to their careers.

Ryan was on his cell phone, having a chat with his manager about everything that was on deck for the last two months of the year. They had everything from one-off concerts, to TV and radio show appearances and performances. He was lounging around in his living room, wearing a pair of denim blue jeans and a simple gray t-shirt, his ever-growing hair now curled on the edges, as he heard the knocking on his front door. It was faint knocking but just enough for him to hear it. He bid adieu to his manager, slipping his phone in his pocket as he quickly went to answer the door. Ryan opened the door wide, he smiled down at Nadia as he saw her standing in front of him. "Hey you," he said in a soft voice, before coming closer to her, planting a kiss on her lips. Ryan backed off, now with a sly smirk on his lips. "Come in" he added, grabbing her hand and bringing her inside, shutting the door behind them.

He placed his hand on her back, bringing her closer to him with her arms wrapped around him. Ryan leaned his head in and kissed the top of her head. "Well I'm glad your hair hasn't burnt out yet, blondie." he added, chuckling along with her own comment about his hair. "Yeah.... I've missed you too," he said in a whisper, rubbing the palm of his along her back. "I've been good. I'm on a bit of a vocal rest, which is terrible because you know how much I love to speak and be long-winded." Ryan leaned his head back against the couch. "Oh, hmm... the tour was fun. It felt great being back on the road with Ashley and Hunter. I'm sure you'll like touring with those guys."

Ryan looked down at her, running a hand through his own hair. "But enough about me, I'm a boring man nearing middle age," he said with a laugh. "How was the tour across Europe? I'm sure you have a few stories to tell there." he asked her with a small.

He laughed and nodded along her comment. "Fair point. I would have probably just called the cops on you and say you were some crazy stalker girl," he joked. He shifted his hand and outstretched his arm over the couch. "I have a lot more singing and talking to do for the next two months so I have to maintain my amazing vocals. By amazing I mean, fairly average, breathy baritone." he chuckled. Ryan felt his phone vibrate in his pocket but decided to ignore it. He wasn't going to let anyone get in between this alone time they were finally having.

Ryan shook his head as he laughed aloud with her. "Babe, I don't need to know if German men are hung or not," he smirked, "Why would any man want their penis autographed? I'm sure that gets you a restraining order in any other part of the world... I don't think I'll ever extensively tour Europe. Weird ass people.[/i]" Ryan scratched his cheek, smiling over at Nadia. "I am a bit jealous about the breasts you signed though. Women who want to have their breasts signed have to have big breasts to do so. From personal experience, small breasts are awkward to sign. No offense." he laughed.

"Oh well, I was about to say," he chucked. "There's a different standard between flashing a penis and flashing breasts. Breasts are acceptable at my concerts, except no one does it anymore." When her phone rang, he remembered of the call or text that he received moments before. "Yeah, don't worry," he smirked softly.

Ryan met his eyes with hers and listened closely to what she said. It was true. Just last year they had broken up for the same reason, because of the long-distance factor that always seemed to get in between them. "Well... what can we do? It's always going to happen. We've always known this." He paused for a moment before continuing, "We broke up because of it a year ago and.... we said we weren't going to let it break us apart again but it's tough. I don't know what I can do to make this any easier. It's just a way of our lives, our careers."

"I don't want any penis flashed at one of my concerts, except if it's my own, he laughed. "Something is seriously wrong with that girl. Did she get dropped on her head when she was a baby?" He knew she was trying to lighten the fact of their busy schedules which he appreciated.

Ryan looked over at Nadia, waiting to see what was this idea she had. Odds are he probably wasn't going to like it if she said she was unsure if he was up for it. That pretty much meant he wasn't going to like it just because he didn't like his own relationships going in a cycle. He raised an eyebrow, his eyes widening a bit upon hearing her suggestion for her to move in with him. He titled his head to the opposite side, thinking over the idea she had just thrown at him. The first thought in his mind was if they were there yet. I mean they've been a couple a considerable amount of time, yet they surely haven't spent that much time together. "Well... Nadia, I'm just..." he finally turned to face Nadia. "I don't know. That sounds like we'll have to compromise with a lot stuff. It would be easy if we both were in the same continent even. I'm never in one place for too long. Even when I'm on downtime I'm bouncing from New York to LA and back." He took a quick sigh, thinking of the words he wanted to say. "You want to move in with me? Why? I don't know what that's gonna fix. Are we going to travel less if we move in together? I just..."

Ryan listened on when she spoke again. He wanted to make this work between them but he just never saw them as being that couple. The couple who moved in together, and talked about having kids and getting married. He's just never had that desire to have such a thing with Nadia or anyone else.

"Oh god, let's not talk about marriage now. Marriage is like love's suicide." he said with a faint chuckle. "Why not? How we're going now has worked so far. Progression is overrated and don't want us to run on clocks." He tried to understand what she was saying, and all she told him made practically sense. "You're right, you're right... Just please, give me some time to think about this." He said in a near whisper, moving in closer to her and placing his hand on top of hers. "I love you, Nadia, I seriously do. I just need a little time to think this over, okay?"

Ryan suddenly wondered what was it that she now had to tell him. It seemed like she had an arsenal of things to tell him today that he didn't particularly enjoy hearing from her. It was nature that she wanted more commitment from him, what woman didn't want that.

"What... what is it Nadia?" he asked her, his mouth running on dry. He rubbed his thumb along the side of her hand. A part of him really wanted to hear what she had to say, while the other wanted no part of it. "I promise you not to runaway. That's as much of a promise as I can give you." he laughed nervously.

He stood completely still. For a moment there it was like the entire world around him stopped moving, time itself stopped. Ryan was afraid of commitment, but the only thing that scared him more so than any moving in together or marriage was the phrase that just slipped out of her mouth. Now he really didn't want to be here. He couldn't understand how it could even happen, they've always used protection and Ryan of course has always done everything he could in every relationship of his for this not to happen. This had to be a joke, some twisted joke, right?

"You're kidding... you're fucking kidding, right?" He said aloud still not looking up at Nadia. When he finally did, he noticed that her expression did not change, this was serious and actually happening. He looked back down again and slipped his hand away from under hers. "How... how the fuck..." He shook his head, running his hand across his face not wanting to believe this at all. "How? This can't be possible. Every single time we've been together we've done everything in our power so this exact thing doesn't happen to us." He sighed keeping his his head down. "How could you think your pregnant? Because I just can't understand this at all." he said in a lower voice, still not capable to look up at her.

Ryan shook his head over and over again. He didn't want to believe this at all. It's almost as if this was a bad dream, a horrible nightmare. He had no idea what to say to her. He was still unable to disgust the situation, if anything he also felt sick at the moment.

"I... I can't comfort you. I can't tell you that everything is gonna be okay. If I tell you that it would be a lie." He stared up at the ceiling, sighing aloud. "I don't want this. You... you can't be pregnant right now. I don't want a kid. I don't want to be a father or having to take care for anyone else but myself." His words came out in a near stutter. He rubbed his hand against his forehead, now feeling a sudden ache coming to him from hearing all this and not knowing how to handle it. "Is this why you were bringing up the thing about us moving in? That doesn't lessen this situation at all." Ryan finally looked up at her, seeing in how bad of a state she was, he couldn't bring himself to help her one bit. "We have to make sure you're pregnant. You may have all the symptoms but maybe it's just a flu or something else. This..." he paused, looking down again. "This can't be fucking happening right now."

Ryan was trying his best not to turn this into an argument but as she pushed and poked at him, he couldn't help but get on the defense.

Before he even could say a word back, at a blink of an eye Nadia rushed passed and he heard the front door being slammed. He sat there for a moment before standing up and rushing to the front door and opening it. "You don't have the fucking right to tell me something like that and just leave." He told her in a stern voice. "Don't stay with me if you're living with the idea that you can change me because that's never going to fucking happen." He turned his back and slammed the door. He leaned back against the door and took a loud sigh. These fights were seemingly becoming more each time they were together. He was unsure if he wanted this in his life anymore, if he wanted Nadia anymore. Or even if this possible pregnancy was going to be what gets between them and damages their relationship in ways that are passed worthy of fixing.
