Song Analysis: Little Devil is a guitar heavy rock song by Misery Loves Company. The songs begins with a fast-paced guitar riff leading into a heavy percussion sounding beat. As the song progresses onto the verses it tones down slightly, with the bass guitar becoming the dominant instrument throughout this until the chorus arrives in a swift fashion. The chorus is drowned out by distorted guitars and a heavy snare. As the words 'Little Devil' are shouted out by the whole band, the song is taken over by the bass guitar once again. The song is very up-tempo and this continues as we enter the bridge where the screaming vocals come in. The clean and unclean vocals combine verse by verse before a slight key change which builds into the final chorus. The chorus is played out very anthemic as once again the screaming vocals drop in to give the song the slightly heavier and more aggressive side.

Songwriters Comment: "For me, writing the song, i really wanted to take it to the next level. I thought the songs i wrote for the first record were, i don't wanna say weak, but, they weren't great. I had taken the basic 4 verse then chorus format for most songs, which is pretty basic. So i took it a little further this time and wrote it based upon a girl who i was just out of a relationship with, it had been her fault we had broken up.. but then, afterwards she tried everything to get back! When we were together my life was hell, i loved her, but the feeling wasn't mutual.. so the song was basically a letter of revenge or payback to her. We were so lucky that Sam had come out too one of our LA shows while were touring last month, and we had the song provisionally written, but we knew it was missing something. So we asked Sam would he track some vocals and he was down for it, and the end product is this, something we're over the moon with! Hope you all enjoy.

Announcement..

We are saddened to announce that Riley will be leaving the band, effective immediately. We stress that it is family reasons for his exit and was solely his choice, we tried our best to get him to re-consider but it was something that had been playing on his mind for quite some time. This is what Riley said about his exit:

"I would first off like to thank every single one of you who have came out too our shows, bought our music, listened to our music, promoted our band, told your friends and most importantly, pissed your parents off with our music. Without you i would never have achieved my goals. I'll be 100% honest with you all, its the least i could do. When i joined Misery Loves Company, i was just out of a serious relationship with my long-term girlfriend. However, during the summer we got back together and she soon became pregnant with my child. I was ecstatic to be a father but then no sooner did i find out than we (the band) went on our headlining tour of the US. It was a really tough time for me, being away from here and well, my child. So it made me consider my options, which effectively led to my departure from Misery Loves Company. I love all the boys so much and will continue being a follower, but for now i want to spend time with my family and take a knee. Goodbye for now, much love Riley."

We as of yet have not decided on the vacant bassist spot in the band, but we will let you no ASAP. We are also in the studio debuting a few demos and hoping to have some recording done before we join Suburban Sunrise's headliner on a supporting slot along with Aaron Marks.
