NEW MEMBER JOINS THE RIOT!  - Adam Benjamin, he must be pretty cool because he's friends with Amy Meyer ;)How’s everyone doing?
Just thought I’d post a little something for you guys, if you’ve seen us on tour you may have seen that guy ^ join us on occasion, His name is Adam Benjamin and he’s an amazing rhythm guitarist, as well as joining us onstage sometimes, he also had a small part on the recording of our debut album but he’s always been the unofficial 5th member of the band, well not anymore, he’s joining the band on a permanent basis, which now makes Riot! In The Boulevard a five-piece rock band and he’ll be joining us in the studio over the next few months while we begin to work on our sophomore album, so give him a warm welcome.
In other news, we’re demo-ing some new songs for our sophomore album in a studio next week and we’ll start officially recording the next album sometime in December, we’re aiming for a February 2012 release date and I’ve been told to keep as many details about the album as secret as possible, the label were pretty maaaaaaaaad when they saw that photo with some lyrics posted on our website the other day but those lyrics are out there now, so whatcha gonna do. Anyway I’m pretty sure that covers things for now, peace and love, dude’s and dudette’s and if I don’t update you guys anytime in the next week then happy thanksgiving, Riot! Are very thankfull for all of you beautiful people that support us :P

BLOG UPDATE - NOVEMBER 21, 2011  “Maybe We’ll Never Be Truly Alone

My Echo, My Shadow … And Me”- UntitledHey world, how’s it going?
You know we’ve had an amazing year, like seriously one of the most amazing and memorable years that we could have ever imagined happening and if you’d have told me this time last year that all of this would have happened for us then I’d have laughed in your face but wow, I can’t even begin to explain how incredible it has been, those of you who tuned into the Chaos Awards last night will probably know that we somehow managed to win Best Band for the second time in a row, it’s freaking mind blowing, seriously I’m not trying to be humble or anything like that but wow, I’m just amazed at how everything has happened and now we’re living in this world that we never thought we would, we’re really just a group of teenagers trying to make sense of the world through our music and somehow we’ve managed to have this kind of success, it just blows my mind when I think about it, I can’t really say anything other than thank you to everyone that has supported us so far.
So that’s what happened last night, now we’ve got some news, firstly we’re on an airplane as we speak and we’re on our way back to the US, we’re spending the week at this house in Miami, they’ve got this incredible rehearsal space and we’re gonna be working on our new songs just trying to get things ready for when we start recording our second album. We’ll then be heading out to Los Angeles to begin recording the album in early December and we’ve already got an amazing producer on board as well and hopefully we can have the new album out around February if everything goes according to plan. We could have the first single ready for you guys in January which should be pretty cool.
In the next few weeks there’s gonna be a couple of things to look out for as well as details being released about the album there will also be a pretty in depth interview for a high profile music magazine and also there’s gonna be a special televised concert in the coming weeks but details on that aren’t 100% confirmed yet, so keep your eyes out for us, it’s gonna be a busy few months.
