The ad called for an 'all singing, all dancing group who are more than just pretty faces'. Ife Kuku and Una Harvey were found by talent scouts and were added to the band, meanwhile Victoria Black, Chloe Byrne & Saffia Saunders all auditioned for the group before being selected. They then became Brown Sugar. They released their first single 'Moving Up' in February 2011. It peaked at No.9 here and topped the German singles chart. Their debut album, the electro pop filled 'Chasing Rainbows' soon followed and went straight to No.5 in the Chart Heat Albums Chart. Next single, the R&B ballad, 'Can't Hide It' managed to reach No.14 in the chart in April. After many issues and clashes with the band, Chloe and Saffia quit after 2 years. Step up Sierrah Summers and Serenity White! The girls continued with this new line up and released a cover of Depeche Mode's/The Saturdays' anthem; 'Just Can't Get Enough'. Brown Sugar planned on re-releasing their debut album with the newly recorded vocals of Sierrah and Serenity but plans were scrapped due to parting from the label and eventually splitting. However, after a whole month of court battles; Ife Kuku won the rights to the Brown Sugar name and took it upon herself to reform the band and make it bigger than ever. Returning with Sierrah and Serenity alongside two new girls, Maddie and Clea, the girls signed to Angel Music Records and are currently recording new material. First of all, I want to thank all of the fans (old and new) for supporting the return of the group and secondly, for giving me and Maddie a warm welcome to the group. We are currently working our sexy backsides off to give all of you the great album you deserve. We have written 2 tracks which may or not be on the album, they are called; 'Tick Tick' and 'Day & Night'. The songs haven't been recorded yet but I'm sure we'll nail them. Have a lovely weekend and to every person sitting exams soon, get studying and stop coming on to this site! Education is everything :P Peace out.

Us Brown Sugar girls will be Live & Lost! This is a series of concerts sponsored by BlackBerry and Twitter in which we will have to do a series of tasks and a whole lot of travelling in order to get to the gigs. We will be taken to a secret location in the UK and left there, just us all on our own!.....and a cameraman, , we will also have our phones, we will only have £20 to last us the full week for food. So here is where YOU come in; if you are a lovely person and in the area we are in, contact us on Twitter or BBM and give us a ride! Or maybe even contact us and give us a place to sleep for the night, a change of clothes or some food. In return for helping us, you can challenge us to do anything! For example, you can tell us to turn up to your school and do all your work for you, ask us to sing whilst dressed in embarrassing costumes or even to cook for you. Please try to be nice though! Heading to the first unknown place just now and should be arriving soon. x

Many screaming girls come over and ask for photos and autographs, one by one, Brown Sugar kindly sign school bags and pieces of paper and have their photographs taken with pupils. The wind blows Maddie's hair all over her face and she starts spitting bits of long blonde hair out of her mouth. Ife turns to a small school girl who looks no taller than a 9 year old. Ife: 'Excuse me sweetheart, but can you tell me exactly where we are?' The girl looks confused; Girl: 'Eh....Chelmsford' Ife gives her a huge hug and walks over to a freezing and shivering Clea. Ife: 'Clea, we are in Chelmsford!' Clea: 'Oh God help us' Ife: 'It's not as bad as people make out, Clea. Anyway at least we can tweet and say where we are! Now, I'm off to find a street sign.' Many passers by are looking at the huge crowd in the street and doing the occassional pointing and gossiping, Serenity goes over to them and starts asking if they had any food on them. Her attempts at sweet talk failed. Sierrah: Anything? Serenity: Nothing, not even a piece of chewing gum! Sierrah: Why is everyone so heartless? Serenity: Well have have £20 to spend, why don't we grab something to eat? Sierrah: But that's to last us the whole week and this is only day 1. Serenity: Yeah you're right. Ife returns with her BlackBerry in hand; Ife: Right girls, going to tweet now. Quote: "In Chelmsford? (wherever that is) and really hungry and need to get to Birmingham for our gig" A young boy, wearing a dirty navy blue school jumper and a loose notted tie walks up to Sierrah. Boy: Will you be my girlfriend? Sierrah: How old are you!? Boy: Old enough Sierrah: Chancer!......is that a Spiderman bag you have on? The boy blushes and tries his best to hide his school bag.
